THE RACIST IN CHIEF SPEAKS

President BO has insulted ALL Americans by thinking his words helped smooth over the disparaging remarks he made about the Cambridge Police Department's handling of the H. L. Gates arrest.

First he blatantly and specifically said the handling of the case was stupid.

Reinforcing President BO's position, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson called the arrest an outrageous act of racial profiling.

Later, President BO tried to assuage the situation by saying: "I want to make clear that in my choice of words, I think I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge Police Department and Sgt. Crowley specifically. And I could've calibrated those words differently."

Gave an impression? Gave an impression?

He did NOT "give an impression!"

He came right out and said it!

He said that Cambridge the police had "acted stupidly."

That is NOT giving an impression...that is coming right out and saying it.

Then he had the unmitigated gall to soften the blow by declaring it a "teachable moment."

Well, I hope he learned something from it...but I seriously doubt it.

The Racist in Chief has done everything necessary to make certain that the fires of racism continue to burn in the good old U S of A.

There was even a photograph of the handcuffed Gates being escorted off his porch amid three officers, two white and one black.

The Associated Press Filed this report:

BOB SALSBERG Associated Press Writer

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — A black police officer who was at Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s home when the black Harvard scholar was arrested says he fully supports how his white fellow officer handled the situation.Sgt. Leon Lashley says Gates was probably tired and surprised when Sgt. James Crowley demanded identification from him as officers investigated a report of a burglary.

Lashley says Gates' reaction to Crowley was "a little bit stranger than it should have been."

Asked if Gates should have been arrested, Lashley said supported Crowley "100 percent."

Gates is a perfect example of why race issues keep raising their ugly heads in this country.

He is so offended by being black that he has to draw attention to it and demean it every chance he gets…whether in the classroom, or breaking into a home.

That’s too bad, because it perpetuates racism in our society.

Try as hard as they might, white people cannot become color blind because people like Gates, Sharpton, Jackson and now President BO keep forcing the issue to the fore.

President BO has once again proven that he is nothing more than a thug, a vile of the highest order and a hate-filled racist who has put his monarchial nose where it does not by any stretch of any intelligent person's imagination belong.

Spoken like a true racist.

Sharpton and Jackson are irrelevant. They made their fortunes from racializing the country. It's their job. Wherever there is a story, whether it be the death of Michael Jackson or a dust up between a white cop and an elitist black professor, they will be there -- like Batman and Robin.

But this guy Gates is a disappointment. He had a reputation as teaching the only black studies course in the country that wasn't about victimization, powerlessness and self-loathing. But the first time he is confronted by authority, he throws a racial hissy fit, showing that he's a complete and utter fake and a racist himself.

He isn't living the black experience. He occupies a position of wealth, power and privilege. Maybe he just feels left out.

Or, maybe it's that hideous mole on his face.

Sue: I used to have argument with my Georgia born mother about why people treated "colored people" differently from anybody else.

When I was living in St. Augustine I marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and sat at the Rexall lunch counter with the protesters.

I hate racism with a passion, whether white racism, asian racism or black racism.

There is no room in a land of liberty for any form of racism at any time.

I prefer to examine the content of a man's character, rather than his skin color.

"You Have to Be Taught" from "South Pacific" is one of my favorite songs of all time for what it teaches.

President BO's "teachable moment" was nothing more than his attempt to cover up his racist remarks.

I am in full agreement with you on this and on many other things about Barack Obama

Racism is one thing that truly is color blind as it transcends skin color.

LR: I am not at all sure what set him off, but Gates fell into the trap so many do of acting suspiciously and then getting upset when anybody notices.

Matt Rose: Thanks for coming by. I appreciate your passion for TRUTH.

Shoprat: You have put it correctly!

LR - You are showing your smallness of spirit when you make a remark about someone's mole.
As if he could help it.

Sue, just curious. Who has spoken like a true racist?

Joe~ thanks for reminding us about the 'teachable moment' schtick. That was, perhaps, the most insulting, patronizing thing he said. The very idea, that he's gonna 'teach' us all something, just b/c he's black (sort of) & president, & he's building his "portfolio" of issues about which he is expert. Give me an ever lovin' break.

Joe - I hear you. But I am reading your remarks from my viewpoint, and not yours.

For example, sometimes I have written things and then laughed hysterically over them. Then I would stop and think - maybe no one else will be laughing.

There is something about you that I like and admire - and something that doesn't always come off the same way.

Sue, dear, please speak more plainly. I believe you have something to say, but you speak cryptic-ly & I don't know where you're going w/ your comments. Thus, the question I had for you...

(Maybe Joe knows the direction you're going, but I don't. But hey, it's not my blog.)

sue said...

Susannah - So this isn't your blog? I was just wondering....

Can Joe speak for himself?

Susannah said...

"Can Joe speak for himself?" Of course, my friend, & quite well; but can you?

I'm not sure what you're saying with your initial comment. You appear to label BHO a racist for his statements, but also appear to call my friend Joe a racist for his post. I was curious as to which it is, but you didn't answer, only spoke about points of view & perceptions. I'm simply attempting a bit of clarity; wouldn't want to misinterpret.

Clearly, it's not my blog...I defer to Joe.

To all: My comments section is, in a sense, everybody's blog (with the rules kept in mind).

The definition of a "racist" on this blog: Anybody who judges anything about anybody else based on his color, whether black, white, Asian, Hispanic or "Native American."

White people can say racist things, black people can say racist things and so can all of the others.

Sharpton and Jackson notwithstanding, it is very possible for a black person to be racist if he/she lumps any other "group" together and prejudges what they are like.

I take one white person at a time, and I take one black person at a time.

In short, I take one person at a time, and look for their character, not their skin color.

For that I've been accused of pandering, which I have never understood.

So be it.

I stand by my statement that President BO exhibited racist characteristics when he commented on the Gates fiasco, and that is not by a long shot the first time he has done so.

Make no mistake: President BO is a racist of the first order.

He blames his color for his problems, and that is racism.

He shows preference to certain people, not based on their ability, but on their skin color.

That is racism.

Each of us is a sum of our experiences. What we do in life and how we react, set in motion what comes next.
As a person who was blind for 2 years due to an accident, character shows up in our speech and our content of thought. If we insist on insulting and denigrating one another then perhaps action by a higher authority as a spanking is necessary.
Gates needed a good spanking and BO needs to know when to shut up. Gates was throwing a tantrum due to his own stupidity of locking himself out of the house. The police officer was doing his job based on standards of protocol. All Gates had to due was comply and act decent.
I guess this was too much to ask.

BO injected race into his campaign and he has brought it to the forefront more since he has been in office, then tries to turn it around and place blame on anyone with opposing views to his. For someone who promised to change the political climate, he has......he has made it worse. No one is supposed to disagree with him. Since when has free speech been so under attack? I'm an old former Democrat, but things are getting worse quickly in this country and people need to get their eyes open. mom2

How can it be racial profiling? Sergeant Crowley had no idea what he would find when he answered the call of "a break in progress".

No one told him before he got there what the color or race was of the people involved.

Professor Gates is the racist here. Not Officer Crowley.

Joe - One thing about you that I like - you are thorough in your opinions. It's hard to put a good man like you down. Not that I want to.

Sue, if you can't see thru this racist moron professor, then you need new glasses.
To call Joe a racist over this clown make you seem pathetic

American - I'll add pathetic to the list of names I've been called by conservatives.
