AN END TO ONE MAN'S ERA

Over fifty years in ministry and 27 years in Christian radio has come to an end today.

The man who owns the station, a historically volatile person at best, came in today wanting to know what went wrong with a program.

I did not know the answer and said I would have to investigate, and would probably have an answer by this afternoon. That did not satisfy him and he went into a tirade, which set my heart into atrial fibrillation.

I am not afraid to die, and would gladly die for my wife, my country and/or for other just causes, but I will not die because of some one's inability to control his anger.

So I resigned my post as Production Director at the Christian radio station at which I worked.

I don't know how I am going to make it economically, or what God's next move in my life will be, but I'm going to take a few days to consider it before making a decision.

Please keep me and my sweet wife, who agrees with my decision, in your prayers.

We will need a lot.

Joe, you are an amazing person and I know that things will work out for you. With God on your side, he won't lead you wrong. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Thank you all for your encouragement.

I am in the process of processing it all.

One issue is that the radio station has defined me, and it had become an undesirable indentification.

God has something in store, and I'll seek His leadership until He shows me.

Thanks again for your support.

Joe, I see what your saying and do indeed empathize for your situation. I think however, if you have worked for this person for some time and nothing like this has happened before....Something is in the wind and your are probably better to be away from it.....Many reasons could be the cause of the outrage. One cannot tell from your description, We can gather that indeed he's like that,( so take it with a grain of salt or as I said something is iin the wind and your better off...Verbal abuse is unacceptabe in the workplace especially a hostle workplace...There is a law against it....Depends on whats happening as I say...and one cannot gather whats happening from the description.....prayers....stay well...
