Z: Thanks. It may well be lawful, but it is certainly in bad taste, to say the least, and vile thinking on the part of New Yorkers if they allow it to happen.

That's a petition against the NYC mosque.
My cousin sent an email out to her fellow New Yorkers asking if they've seen this on TV, she has not but doesn't watch much local news. SHE says New Yorkers are furious, I think nobody has a choice but let the mosque be built$$$
When they think they can get something built that big by 9/11/11, somebody's paying EVERYBODY OFF. I've worked in construction/design and there is NO NORMAL WAY they can have all of that in a year ...permits alone could take six months on a project that big. This has a LOT LOT LOT of HUGE money behind it.
We're losing our country, bit by bit.

SK: This is not a matter of religious freedom, but of propriety. I Corinthians 10:25 reminds us: "'Everything is permissible' - but not everything is beneficial. 'Everything is permissible' - but not everything is constructive."

To build the mosque there may well be permissible and lawful, and even religiously free, but it would be in very, very bad form and would be a travesty of justice.
