Sorry. This was a trick quiz. All of the correct answers are the same person. Each of these quotes are directly from President Barack Obama.

And now you know why he brings his teleprompter with him everywhere he goes...
even when talking to a 6th grade class.

And some members of the media continue to insist he is "the smartest man ever elected to the Presidency". (The media must think that "Austrian" is a language.)

Yeah, right! Send it to all of your family and friends so they can see how smart he is.

AND THEY SAID GEORGE W. WAS STUPID!

Yes, good job! Copy and paste a year old spam email. And the quotes are fresh, from '08' & '09'.

Whoever did come up with this list (it wasn't Mindy), went through 3 years of public utterances from Obama to come up with 10 errors and still got one wrong. #10 was said by Quayle. You can take any one week of Bush's malaprops and find 10 boneheaded statements.

Joe, This coming Monday's debate is on foreign policy. A perfect opportunity for Willard to peddle the Right's line of bull on what Obama said about the 'act of terror' in Benghazi. A dollar says he won't touch it. Candy's fact check was, in fact, factual.

Joe said...

Craig: Oh, put a cork in it.

Who cares where it came from?

You?

Who cares what you care about?

Who are you to care, anyway?

Besides, Obama out boneheads Bush 10 to 1.

So what? That doesn't make it any less than it is.
Ir still is the truth and it still shows us what a FOOL we have in the White House.
Nest-ce pas? You Idiot!

Joe said...

TWISI: Craig might be right. It may well be old.

So what?

I'd never seen it compiled like this before, so it was new to me and I'd bet to many others, too.

Obama consistantly makes outlandish, irrelevant and immature comments.

Plus, he doesn't know what he is doing. He's way out of his league.

Still, old truth is still truth.

Anonymous said...

Yes, still it's the truth.
PS. I've never seen it before either....

You?

No, I don't care where it came from. I just think it's dishonest when people cut and paste without attribution, as if it was their work. I care about honesty. Do you?

Of the 9 that Obama actually said, it's mostly misstatements, brain farts. Everyone has them, but if these make you feel better, I'm glad. I'm worried about your psychological health on Nov. 7. I think you'll be mighty disappointed.

By the way, re quote #4. The transcript doesn't show that he was talking with a heckler in the audience. One side only of an exchange with someone interrupting you in print would make it sound goofy. So, your down to 8.

Misstatements and malaprops aren't really a reflection of ones intelligence (I've never heard anyone in the news media call Obama "the smartest man ever elected to the Presidency"), unless you can't get through 3 sentences without making one. Like W.

Truly stupid statements are ones like these, perfectly articulated and idiotic.

1. “I’m not familiar precisely with exactly what I said, but I stand by what I said. Whatever it was.”

2. “I love this state. The trees are the right height.”

3. "When you have a fire in an aircraft, there's no place to go, exactly, there's no – and you can't find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don't open. I don't know why they don't do that. It's a real problem."

We could go on like this. I've got a boatload of Romney quotes that aren't necessarily stupid, but show him to be the jerk he is.

Bad sentence construction. This is better,

One side only, in print, of an exchange with someone interrupting you would make it sound goofy.

Dear Craig, How can anyone ignore this?

On September 11, 2012 – the day Stevens and three other Americans were killed – the ambassador signed a three-page cable, labeled “sensitive,” in which he noted “growing problems with security” in Benghazi and “growing frustration” on the part of local residents with Libyan police and security forces. These forces the ambassador characterized as “too weak to keep the country secure.”

In the document, Stevens also cited a meeting he had held two days earlier with local militia commanders. These men boasted to Stevens of exercising “control” over the Libyan Armed Forces, and threatened that if the U.S.-backed candidate for prime minister were to prevail in Libya’s internal political jockeying, “they would not continue to guarantee security in Benghazi.”

Craig: So if I find something on the Internet and I don't know its original source I can't repeat it?

Good grief, man! This is a blog, not a national security file!

Not only that, neither I, nor anybody else, has any obligation to tell you our sources.

If we infringe on a copywrite, let the copywrite holder come after us.

I'm sure he/she is a big boy/girl and can take care of himself/herself.

I don't know where the came from or who wrote it, and I don't care.

I liked it, Mindy brought it to my attention on another blog, a put it on my blog.

That's all.

Get an ever-loven-blue-eyed-life!

There are plenty of things to argue about.

This isn't one of them.

Craig said...

SoCalGal,

I don't think anyone is ignoring the points you bring up. There are several investigations going on. Steven's correspondence went through State dept. channels. No way would his concerns and/or requests would have reached the Pres. or Veep's desk, in any administration. If there was wrongdoing by Obama or anyone else, let the chips fall.

This argument about when they called it terrorism is nonsense and the Righties are trying to use those deaths to score political points. It stinks.

Joe, I'm not criticizing you, I'm criticizing Mindy. A simple, "I got this chain email" would suffice. It's not a legal thing and it's not about sources. I'd be ashamed of posting something someone else wrote and passing it off as my own. I'm too damn honest. It's a blessing and a curse.

Joe said...

Craig: "...I'm criticizing Mindy."

Why?

Maybe she got it the same way I did...from another blog that did not name ITS source.

As for your being too honest...well, never mind.

Craig said...

Joe, You credited Mindy, good on you. Mindy credited no one, she passed it off as her own. If you and Mindy are comfortable with that, fine. It says something about both of you.

I wonder if "CRAIG" would be so interested in where that post came from if it were about Romney instead of the messiah ?

The Way I See It. said...

Lets not forget and this can be added to Mindy's post, all the times while Governor Romney was doing good things, President Hussein was sitting in his church land listening to Rev. Wright spew hatred and lies and hatred about Jews, and whites, and America for 20 years.

The Way I See It. said...

Because of Obama and his so called Secretory of State, and UN Ambassador, we have 4 dead Americans, the American flag is down in Libya , the al qaida's is up in Benghazi,

Obama should take responsibility or resign!

And Craig is worried about who originally wrote that little post!

During the Chucklenuts administration:

2002: U.S. Consulate In Karachi, Pakistan, Attacked; 10 Killed, 51 Injured.

2004: U.S. Embassy Bombed In Uzbekistan.

2004: Gunmen Stormed U.S. Consulate In Saudi Arabia.

2006: Armed Men Attack U.S. Embassy In Syria

2007: Grenade Launched Into U.S. Embassy In Athens

2008: Rioters Set Fire To U.S. Embassy In Serbia.

2008: Ten People Killed In Bombings At U.S. Embassy In Yemen.

Middle East is a tough neighborhood but under Obama embassy attacks are down. So if the fringe right wing can explain why their knickers are in a knot we'd love to hear it.
My guess is that they are blowing smoke, as usual.

My guess is that they are blowing smoke, as usual.

Yowza. Another Rightie conspiracy falling apart. A conspiracy I can't quite understand. What does Obama have to gain by denying it was a planned terrorist attack vs. a terrorist attack of opportunity. The Winger simian impulse is to keep flinging feces at the wall to see what sticks. I guess the entire intelligence apparatus is in on the conspiracy too. WSJ and Wapo are reporting,

“Talking points” prepared by the CIA on Sept. 15, the same day that Rice taped three television appearances, support her description of the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate as a reaction to Arab anger about an anti-Muslim video prepared in the United States. According to the CIA account, “The currently available information suggests that the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault against the U.S. Consulate and subsequently its annex. There are indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations.”

Obama had it exactly right, shoot first, aim later. Let's see if Mittens pushes BenghaziGate Monday night. My offer's still open, Joe. $1 he doesn't. Are you man enough?

Obama should take responsibility or resign!

What responsibility does the Republican Congress have for voting to cut $300M from the State Dept. budget?

Craig said...

$300M from the State Dept. budget?

Arggh. I meant to say, State Dept. security. budget. It turns out I'm wrong on the $300M figure, it's closer to $500M

But as part of the Republican majority that has controlled the House the last two years, Mr. Issa joined in cutting nearly a half-billion dollars from the State Department’s two main security accounts.

Ducky's here said...

It's apparent Craig that Joe and friends have never heard of the "fog of war" and assume 100% accurate intelligence was available minutes after the attack.
