You can find the links documenting each of the events there, too.

Let's see you stupid liberal/progressives make excuses for these incidents (or pretend none of them happened).

Now show us actions by the Tea Party that are comparable in behavior and number.

Oh...and then there's this:

The city of Santa Cruz put together a list of 93 complaints about behavior at Occupy Santa Cruz.
At least one incident on the county list wasn’t noted by the Sheriff’s Office: the discovery of an estimated 200 pounds of human feces near the county Veterans Memorial Building, just across the Water Street bridge from the camp.
The county called in a hazardous materials team to clean up the mess, and installed a security fence around the building, which is closed for renovations. There is no evidence that linked the excrement to the camp.

No evidence?

Maybe.

But there is an extraordinary coincidental proximity:

Now, who would have 200lbs of human feces on hand to dump anywhere? Maybe somebody camping with inadequate bathroom facilities.

The camp at Santa Cruz had enormous sanitary issues.

Uncivilized savages.

What would it take to cause you to lose confidence in the "movement" (pun intended)?

This is becoming laughable Joe.

Your obsession with OWS is so over the top you might want to seek the help of a professional.

No, seriously.

You do realize that today, members of the Congressional Super Committee will be announcing their failure to reach an agreement on budget cuts which will trigger Draconian, across the board cuts?

Grover Norquist's zombies are succeeding in destroying America and you are obsessing about hippies.

Get a grip.

XO: The "Super Commitee" is deadlocked and you're not surprised?

Guess your rose colored glasses did not allow you to see it coming.

Besides, this is MY blog and I write about what I want to write about.

(Come to think of it, I didn't even write most of that...only a little. Most of it was c/p. Does that offend your senses? Good).

I AM a professional. So I guess I should seek MY help.

I hereby proclaim that I am fine and you are mentally ill.

Of course my "obsession" is not the point. The point is what liberals think is reasonable and defendable.

Fredd said...

Yeah, Xavier is right, Joe. Stop obsessing about hippies and start writing about bunnies and flowers, after you get the help you need.

(Sarcasm button now in the off position). Keep it up, Joe. It drives pinkos like X nuts. You know, truth and honesty, the stuff that liberals hate.

A idiot like the one who contributes nothing to our society and most likely ever will is attacking our police, the same police who are protecting us from slobs like him and HE is threatening to burn down Macy’s! Why? Because Macy’s is a corporation who hires slobs like him. Is that what they call greed?

XO (et. al.): The OWS movement has been purported to be "grass roots."

My purpose in writing about them is to show that they are NOT grass roots.

They are more like 1%, not 99% of American thought.

They are, by-and-large, filthy, vile, vulgar bums who think they are entitled to that for which they should be working.

I mean, "Forgive our college loans?"

Give me an ever-lovin'-blue-eyed break!

Nobody held a gun to their heads to force them into those loans.

They took on the responsibility, now let them pay for their own responsibility.

I sure don't want to pay for it.

Joe said...

XO: Interesting that you do not respond to the content of the post. You do not even point out that you think this represents only a small percentage of OWSers.

Your silence indicates that you approve of these behaviors.

Instead, you jump on me for bringing it up.

Typical liberal tactic

Xavier Onassis said...

The "content" of your post was a cut and paste from someone else and was nothing more than a laundry list of anecdotal nonsense impossible to verify or refute.

I have a job, a family and a life. Not going to waste my time. You shouldn't be wasting yours.

You should be asking more important questions. Like how does an unelected cypher like Grover Norquist come to wield absolute power of Republican Conservatives?

They are huddling in a corner quivering with terror for fear of Grover Norquist. What a bunch of spineless cowards.

I has been responded to, Joe.

You set up a camp for over two months and give out free food and clothing and you will attract a variety of elements.

That's a fact. Wow, there was a heroin OD in Vancouver. Like this is the first time anyone's tied off in Vancouver. Give it a rest.

I notice that you didn't reply to my post about the memo concerning funding for negative reporting on OWS, speaking of not replying.

Meanwhile Joe, we are going to go into a round of "austerity" and get ready for it to get nastier. The trashing the fringe right is going to do will swamp OWS.

Ha, thanks for admitting it Ducky.
I guess the Obama Wall Street Protests were just practice.

And isn’t it interesting how Obama seems to get out of town whenever things like these arise. This dope can never face a crisis head on. It seems to be a patten that whenever a controversial situation is going on at home, Barack and Thunder Buns run away on another vacation.
I think that Mr. Teleprompter could best serve our country by resigning today and let someone with allegiance to the country take charge. That would exclude the current Vice President of course.
It seems that even Chris Matthews lost that tingle.

^ You think this is a matter for the Secretary of State?

What color is the sky on your planet?

As Xavier pointed out, the Not So Super Committee just screwed the pooch. The shills are already on the news shows protecting the military from cuts. Going to be a nasty little free for all.

Now go buy a vowel anything to get a clue.

I guess the liberals don't like seeing the truth in print. And apparently it galls them to no end, and like typical response from the Left, they insult you.

Shake it off, you are doing a great job!

Xavier Onassis said...

Leticia et al,

I can confidently assure you that we are not "galled", being "driven nuts" or anything of the sort by what we read on this blog.

And we certainly haven't found anything remotely like "the truth" here.

Mostly, we are quietly bemused by the completely delusional opinions being expressed by obviously mindless zombies regurgitating talking points like an auditorium full of player pianos all reading from the same spools.

What's really amusing is how completely apoplectic poor Jo Joe allows himself to become! He has become a real 1 string banjo about this OWS thing.

Oh, and The Malcontent's abuse of grammar, punctuation and his general inability to express himself beyond the 8th grade level are good for many guffaws.

You people crack me up.

Oh, one last note...I've never seen so many purported Christians filled with such hate, animosity and intolerance.

If Jesus ever actually existed (he didn't) and if he were walking among us today (he isn't), I can guarantee you he would be down in the park with the 99%, not up in the Wall Street Tower sneering down with disgust and derision.

I know I used some multi syllabic words. Let me help you:

http://www.merriam-webster.com/

You're welcome!

Yeah X, malcontent was really on his best game with that one.

I missed the attempt to burn down Macy's Wouldn't they have waited till Black Friday for full effect? Sounds bogus.

Joe said...

XO: "...impossible to verify or refute."

As I said, if you clicked on the links, they are ALL totally documented, and not one of them is factually in error or made up.

But you will never do that because you are not at all interested in facts, only feeling.

Xavier Onassis said...

Joe - Then why didn't you take the time and make the effort to embed the links in your post of someone else's content (plagerism)?

I'm under no obligation to waste my time chasing down and refuting your stolen nonsense.

If you have facts, post your facts.

But don't pass on other people's anecdotal crap under the assumption that "it was on the internet so it must be true!".

"Occupy Lawrence – Punch thrown"
"Occupy Portland – “I get high"
"Occupy Toronto – Foot sniffer arrested"
"Occupy Portland – Theft is ongoing"

Provide links to public information verifying this nonsense or admit that you are lying to promote your hate filled, intolerant agenda.

Joe said...

XO: "...why didn't you take the time..."

Because my time is much more important than yours.

Xavier Onassis said...

Joe - Oh, I doubt that so very seriously.

Lisa said...

I guess it's XO's personal crusade to try and refute anything you post Joe.
He must be in the top 1% along with Ducky, the 3 million dollar man or as Obama sees them anyone making over 200,000 .

Joe said...

XO: Doubt all you want to.

This is America. You have the right to be wrong.

Joe said...

Lisa: He specializes in refuting whatever I say just for the sake of refutation.

Xavier Onassis said...

Lisa & Jo Joe - I "specialize" in refuting lies with actual facts for the sake of Truth.

Democracy cannot function in an environment where lies go unchallenged.

tha malcontent said...

I "specialize" in having DISGUST for people that prevent others for going about their lives and work, and from disrupting the peace of others.

Thai is NOT what Democracy is about.

Joe said...

XO: "Democracy cannot function in an environment where lies go unchallenged."

I don't like lies, either, but what has "democracy" to do with it?

We don't live in a democracy and I, for one, wouldn't want to.

This is what happens when movements remain leadership.

As much as they deny it, what they are attempting is a communist method of governing themselves. What we are seeing in the Occupy movement is that communism is not a good form of government. They can't even agree on anything or agree to accept offer from the cities because of their insistence on 99% agreement. Insisting on total agreement is unrealistic and leads only to dead lock and negative publicity.
On the other hand, most of the Occupiers do have jobs. They have part time jobs which they should stop whining about because a part time job is better than no job.
As to whether the protestors know what they protesting, if history is any indication then the answer is no. Remember that the majority of people attending immigration and tax protests had no idea what they were protesting. They were only their because someone paid them or because one of their friends or relatives was there. The same can be said of most people attending the Tea Party protests back in 2010. This the law of protests: when ever you have large gatherings of people, the majority of the people at those gatherings will have no real understanding of what the purpose of the protest is for. This can be tested.
When the next protest movement comes along, ask the participants what they protesting. Then test them to see if they really understand the issue that is being protested. Chances are very good that most of the people you talk to will be young and will have little to no clue what they are protesting. They are just their because of their friend.
