WHAT’S THE POINT?

As demonstrated in the comments section of this blog almost every time I write about almost anything, the most narrow minded people on earth are American liberal/progressives (a trait they share with radical Islamists).

Nothing factual I write here is likely to turn the light on inside their heads. Nothing is going to change their minds about anything, because they live by emotion, not by truth.

Some bloggers get more readers in one day than I've gotten in the whole time I've been blogging.

So, why do I bother blogging?

1. I like blogging.
2. Blogging gives me an opportunity to express myself.
3. Blogging allows me to peacefully protest what my gluttonous government is doing.
4. Blogging gives me power…power to decide what gets “said” in my “house.”
5. Blogging allows me to share the views of others…sometimes others with whom I disagree.
6. Since our government (as well as governments around the world) wants to limit and/or control blogging, I figure I’d better do all of it I can while I can.
7. Blogging gives me the chance to express what I believe, regardless of what the reader believes or of what the reader thinks about what I believe.
8. Blogging gives me a reason to research various topics and thus stimulate my mind.
9. When I blog, I get to read other people’s blogs, something I probably would not do were I not involved, myself.
10. Through blogging I get to consider others’ ideas and thoughts, and either accept them or reject them, based on my own personal evaluation of them.
11. I love irritating liberal/progressives on my blog.
12. At least when I blog, my fingers get exercise.

So there you have it.

That’s why I blog.

Aren’t you glad you learned that?

(Of course, if you’re a liberal/progressive, you probably didn’t learn anything anyway).

Joe - Let me be the first to say that you are a first rate blogger, and my personal fave.

~~~
To show how sincere I am, I have chosen this quote to encourage you to continue your blogging and to believe that you are doing good in this country:
'I sincerely believe blogging can save America,'
~John Jay Hooker
Who is this guy?
He was born in 1930, is a Nashville, Tennessee attorney, entrepeneur, perennial candidate, and political gadfly.
This is the best part, Joe:
John Jay Hooker is a direct descendant of William Blount, who signed the Constitution of the United States, and was appointed
by President George Washington in 1790 to be 'Governor of all the lands South of the Ohio River.'
~~~

Having given you my utmost support, now can I count on your vote in 2012?

~~~
thanks joe
My vote on a forum where the owner is engulfed with the hyperbole that he is a fount of perfect wisdom against the leftist devil?
Bump that. I'm not giving my world to these yahoos.
But ducky - the time for 'not giving' your world to the other side is over.
Things have come to where if we don't unite we are going to go under and maybe never recover.
Our leaders have failed us and have been doing so for a long time.
Now we the people have to come forward and say: Enough.
The preamble of the Constitution starts out 'We the People...
WE are the people, ducky.
Because of the divisiveness, the hatred, the backbiting, the namecalling in our country right now, I know I am not going to be able to attend the 9/11 memorial service here tomorrow.
I can't sit there and see children singing and watching white doves being released when all of those around me - virtually all Conservatives - would rather string me up than look at me, let alone feel any unity, because I'm a 'Liberal.'
We the People need to take action now. Now in a violent way, but we need a revolution of caring, positve thoughts, and yes, untiy.
We need to let our leaders know that we want to work together to get our country back - if not for any other reason - to honor the Founding Fathers, who gave us the best country in the world.
We have let them down.
For no other reason than selfishness.
We have been kidding ourselves for a long time, only it's not a joke anymore.
I like your reasons for blogging. I have much the same reasons, but my first reason is to get the truth out no matter if anyone listens or not.
Blogging also puts liberals out there for everyone to see, like monkeys in a zoo. They don't seem to realize that their feces-throwing tactics show them up for what they are.
