Those are just excerpts. The entire history of the Republican party, originally founded as a coalition of people who worked to free the slaves, is about racial equality.

On the other hand, Democrats fought the Republicans vehemently at every turn.

You and LR are doing a great service, Joe. The word must get out that it is the Republicans, not the Democrats, that is the minorities friend.

Bd: You ignoramus. George c. Wallace was a Democrat. He ran for president as a Democrat, except in 1968, when he ran as an Independent.

In 1972, he returned to the Democratic Party fold and was a formidable candidate in that year's presidential primaries.

Typical of liberals, you don't care one whit about truth, you believe something is true because, and only because, you say it is.

Next time you come here, be sure you've gotten an education first, and not from some government school.

Mark: As Bd demonstrates, there is a VAST ignorance of the history of the Democrat involvement in establishing and maintaining the division of the races.

Liberal/progressives are racist to the core and defend themselves with misdirection and malicious historical lies.

Lisa: Well, I'm setting out to change people's perception wherever I can.

I am sick and tired of the ignorant, racist Bds of the world trying to stick conservatives with the racist blot, when it is they, themselves who are the racists, determined to disallow minorities from advancing in society and making them dependent on the welfare state.

All of this happened after the civil rights movement.

If you remember, the "Dixiecrats" (southern democrats) headed by that wonderful scoundrel Strom Thurmon left the democratic party and became Republicans rather than join Democrats in establishing civil rights legislation.

Little of human rights substance has ever come from a Republican legislature.

Ducky: You show your complete ignorance of history with this one.

Keep an eye on future posts which will be well documented.
