Here's what we'll do: We'll set aside $750,000,000,000.00 to apportion out to AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and a couple of others, and we'll be out of this mess in a heartbeat.

Why you tax payers will hardly notice.

Look...what we need is only half the value of everything produced in the nation last year.
Just $7,000,000,000,000.00. (For you public school students, that's seven-trillion dollars...just short of ten times the original estimate).

Joe, I just read blooms....It is really frightening. How come we didn't know about the realy big bailouts and guarantees??? Leastways,I didn't hear anything about them.....My God,,,,they really did give Paulson the power of the president in that bailout bill. Notice we hear nothing but crickets on Saudi money....Where is that coming in??????or is it????stay well...... And lets get rid of the Fed and give the power and responsibility back to the congress where it is suppose to be......Stay well...
