COULDN'T STAY AWAY
"I think we can say that the Constitution reflected an enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day, and that the framers had that same blind spot. I don't think the two views are contradictory. It was a remarkable political document that paved the way for where we are now and to say that it also reflected a fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day."
"If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples so that, uh, I would now have the right to vote, I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order and -- and as long as I could pay for it I'd be okay. But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society."
"As radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it has been interpreted -- and Warren Court interpreted it in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you. But it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf. And that hasn't shifted, and one of the tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused, uh, I think that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change. And, uh, in some ways we still suffer from that."
Each of the above quotes were from the mouth of Barack Obama.
Here is what he will say if he is elected president:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
You will be asking a man to defend the Constitution of the United States who believes is is a flawed document.
If it is flawed, why would he swear to defend it?
If it is not flawed, why did he say that it is?

Because he talks out of his mouth and his tush(being nice) at the same time. There are so many things about Obama that scare me, but his distribution of wealth is at the top. It is flawed in so many ways, and will certainly destroy this country!
Good question and one that a lot of bloggers have been asking today.
Are you joking?
Is that a real question?
Sincerely,
Joe Biden
I listened to that interview over and over again as various conservative talk radio hosts played it.
And now, even though this should seal the deal on Obama's being unfit for duty, the Libs continue to kiss the ground he walks on. All hail the Messiah!
This will surely come back to haunt every single one of them.
Joe biden: Let me see whether I can say this in a way you can understand...
No. Yeah.
jennifer: I guess if enough people think he has a nice tush, he can talk out of it and they don't care.
shoprat: Oh no! You mean it's not original with me?
pcc: I know the Messiah. The Messiah is my friend. Barack Obama, you're no messiah.
I just heard this clip on Mark Levin. I think the reason this Socialist Ideology doesn't concern the average voter is because they really don't understand what the danger of Socialism is to their own liberty.
We need to do everything we can to educate the general public, the Joe the Plumbers of America, who are too young to remember, and remind those who do remember what types of changes Socialism will bring to this country.
mark: You are so right. Any ideas as to what we can do besides our blogging and personal contacts?
Good article, Joe; my comments will address your question, “What can we do?”
The media’s job is to provide information we need in order to make informed decisions. I believe American journalists and those in the business of manufacturing political news have utterly failed in this responsibility.
It should not be up to bloggers and individuals to spread the word about politicians who pursue a Marxist ideology. We do that, but I think it is also fair to say that bloggers are preaching to the choir. Few leftists read my blog, and when they do leave comments, it is apparent that they aren’t reading my articles, or thinking about what I have to say.
But it occurs to me that if T. Boone Pickens can mobilize over a million supporters of the Pickens Plan in less than sixty days, it is also possible to mobilize people who are fed up with a partisan press corps. Of course, we must make a distinction between political commentary and news coverage . . . but as I write this, I’m not certain most Americans know the difference.
Organizations already exist that could serve as a platform to organize a popular boycott of sponsors of partisan news media outlets . . . those who fail to deliver fair, balanced, non-partisan, and unfettered truth about our government, leaders, policy, and programs. When sponsors begin losing money, and when television and radio stations begin losing sponsors, then maybe we can get the press corps back on track. When that happens, we’ll have a much healthier society.
I think the reason people aren't concerned about Obama being a Marxist is because they really don't understand exactly how dangerous Marxism is to America.
For all readers, I don't usually visit other people's blogs to promote my own, but I have written a post that I feel is vitally important to help educate those who have yet to understand the dangerous implications of an Obama administration. If you don't know why you should be concerned about Obama's Marxist ideology please visit and be educated.
Mark....you have 5 blogs, which one?
Jennifer, thanks for asking. The blog on which I wrote the post is casting pearls before swine
I believe some people are actually beginning to wake up to this nightmare an Obama presidency would be. It can be won! Let's get out the vote! God Bless.
