LET'S EXAMINE WHAT HE SAID MONDAY, OCTOBER 29

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Mr. President, you said the following in this interview:

"..this is a tragedy..."

No ever-lovin'-blue-eyed kidding! A tragedy? Who would have guessed it?

"...All kinds of legitimate questions to ask..."

They ARE being asked, but they are NOT being answered.

"...any time a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans get killed, we've gotta figure out what happened..."

FIGURE OUT? FIGURE OUT? WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. AND WE KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE, DUDE. YOU ARE!!!

"...and fix it..."

FIX IT? What are you going to do to fix it? Bring the ambassador back to life? You can't fix it, you nincompoop! It's done. You let him get killed!

"...and most importantly, we've gotta bring those folks who carried that out to justice."

"Folks?"  They are "folks?"

"Folks is a term we use to benignly and informally speak of other people. These were not "other people" who did this. These are barbarians!

"...most importantly...bring (them) to justice?"

At this stage of the game the most important thing is to get rid of the clown who allowed this to happen in the first place...YOU, Mr. President...YOU!

"But I - I - I do take offense...to some suggestion that, you know, in any way we haven't tried to make sure that the American people knew, as information was coming in, what we believed happened..."

You take offense? Oh no! The President is offended! You thin-skinned bratwurst! This is not about you and your offense! This is about your incompetence!

"...As information was coming in?"  You spent 14 days claiming it was a reaction to a video! Do you mean that for 14 days there was no information coming in and that's why you kept saying that? If that's so, WHY?

Do you mean that as Commander in Chief, when you ask for information the people under you don't have to obey and respond to your order? What kind of Commander in Chief are you, anyway?

Never mind. I already know.

You were asked whether it was the intel community giving bad information. You answered,

"That...that's...what we're going to find out from the investigation."

Are you kidding us? You don't yet KNOW whether the intel was good or not? Come on!! Ask me, I know.

"...the, the truth is that, you know, across the board, when this happened, my number one priority was: secure Americans; figure out what happened; bring those folks to justice."

Uh...which of those was number one?

"Congress has been getting th, the flow of information continuously, from day one...'

Wait, wait! I thought you said "...the American people knew, as information was coming in, what we believed happened..."

I see. It was Congress, not the American people who knew.

Which of those contradictory statements was a lie?

"If, if we find out that there was a big breakdown and somebody didn't do their job, they'll be held accountable."

Sir...that would be YOU.

"Ultimately, as Commander in Chief, I'm responsible, and I don't shy away from that responsibility."

Balderdash! You already have!

"My number one responsibility is to go after the folks who did this..."

Oh. Now we know which of the three number one priorities was number one.

"...and we're gonna make sure that we get 'um. I've got a pretty good track record doin' that. "

Oh! Cute! You just made a not-so-veiled reference to OBL! How clever!

Only you didn't get OBL, you only culminated the work of those who set it up.

But never mind. Your liberal friends will give you credit for it anyway.

Sir, you are a liar, a side-stepper, a fraud, a thug, an amateur, a sluggard, a child, an ego maniacal narcissist and an incompetent boob.

And those are the best things I can say about you.

RENAMING THE PRESIDENT

Last Friday, in an interview by Michael SmerconishPresident BO (the amateur president) said he was "not personally aware" of any request for more security by U.S. diplomats in Libya before the Sept. 11 strike on the consulate.

Several weeks ago, former security officers testified on Capitol Hill that they had sought additional protection in the months leading up to the attack -- further, a recently released cable from Ambassador Chris Stevens himself on the day of the attack noted "growing problems with security" in Benghazi.
"I was not personally aware of any request," Obama said Friday, adding that there is an "infrastructure" in place to "manage requests."
"Ultimately, though, any time there is a death of an American overseas, I want to find out what happened because my most important job as president is keeping the American people safe, and we will get to the bottom of what happened," he said.
"...NOT PERSONALLY AWARE OF ANY REQUEST..." WELL WHY NOT? IS HE OR IS HE NOT THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF?
What was he doing when the "requests" for additional security came through? Surely he was not off somewhere golfing or otherwise ignoring what his charges were doing, was he?
Now we know that he not only knew, but he knew that the attack was by terrorists only moments after the attack.
Yet, for two weeks he repeatedly (that means over and over again) said the attacks were just a reaction to a stupid video.
In your minds, dear liberals, was that the right thing to do?

When recently asked about it again by Kyle ClarkPresident BO (the amateur president) said, "The election has nothing to do with four brave Americans getting killed and us wanting to find out exactly what happened. Nobody wants to find out more what happened than I do."

And he said,  "These are folks who served under me who I had sent to some very dangerous places."

For Pete's sake, he is the PRESIDENT! It should NOT be that hard for him to be told what happened!

Not only that, saying that the election has nothing to do with four brave Americans getting killed IS JUST NOT SO!

It goes directly to his ability to function as Commander in Chief. DIRECTLY!

And I guarantee you I want to find out what happened more than he seems to.

"...But we want to make sure we get it right..."

Get it right? GET IT RIGHT?

He got it WRONG! Don't you understand? He said it was because of the video! He got it wrong!

Any response to that other than, "You are correct. I got it wrong. It was not because of the video," was just an out-and-out, deliberate lie designed to take the heat off of himself ('cause he does not know how to handle heat...he's never had to before).

Liberals and self-oriented idiots elected an incompetent, inexperienced, narcissistic nabob and now they think it's a good idea to re-elect him!

Now let me tell you something else: According to a former SPECOPS person, In any case of an embassador in trouble, the default order is to rescue an ambassador under attack. The only way that DOESN'T happen is if an explicit order to stand down is given, and it must come from Washington from the very, very top. That means the president.

In other words, there should automatically have been personnel on the way to rescue the ambassador UNLESS the president gave an order for them not to go.

President BO (the amateur president) is not the only lying, useless, monstrous president we've ever had, but he is among the worst...right up there with Jimmy Carter.

He is also the most disrespectful president since Nixon.

In the end, his only claim to fame is his ability to "be likable (which I never could see, but I guess some do).

Being likable is NOT a primary qualification to being president.

This one is much more concerned with being liked than with any other element of being president.

He is worthy of the name change from President BO (the child president) to President BO (the amateur president).

ADDENDUM: President BO (the amateur president) STILL does not know what happened. This video was from The Morning Joe Show, Monday, October 29, 2012.

OF BAYONETS AND HORSES

During the last debate, Obama (the amateur president) brought up bayonets in order to chide Mitt Romney for calling proposed military cuts devastating.

"You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916,” Obama said. “Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed."

NEWSFLASH MR. PRESIDENT!

As Commander in Chief, you don't seem to know it, but the military still uses bayonets. They are standard issue to every Marine and are considered indespensible.

And they ride horses, too.

U.S. Special forces on horseback in Afghanistan.

And you want this inept, amateur man to continue as Commander in Chief?

HE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR AMERICA?

Of course he went on an apology tour.

He did not call it that, but in every Arab nation he visited, he pointed out the bad side of the United States as though by doing so he would somehow soothe the wounds we supposedly had caused.

CNNObama did indeed mention past U.S. flaws in speeches.

CNNDuring an address in Strasbourg, France, in April 2009, Obama did utter words Romney referenced in the debate.

CNN: In that speech, Obama said, "there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive."

"The United States is still working through some of our own darker periods in our history," Obama said. "Our country still struggles with the legacies of slavery and segregation, the past treatment of Native Americans."

Maybe there is another word to describe these and others remarks President BO (the child president) has made both here at home and around the world.

Regardless, his remarks served to belittle the U.S. in the eyes of those nations and did not help to bring them closer to us socially, diplomatically or politically.

They hate us more today than ever, as witnessed by their own reactions toward the U.S.

Although he takes "responsibility" (for which there must always be a price), it is an empty "responsibility," costing him nothing (except, hopefully, the election).

A JUDGE JUDGES THE ADMINISTRATION

For the record: Jeanine Ferris Pirro (born June 2, 1951) is a former prosecutor, judge, and elected official from the state of New York.

A Republican from Westchester County, Pirro served as a county court judge before serving as the elected District Attorney of Westchester County for 12 years.

As a district attorney she gained considerable visibility, especially in cases regarding domestic abuse and crimes against the elderly.

She was the first female judge on the Westchester County Court bench.

ADDENDUM: BTW, Re: Richard Murdock: Rape is a crime and is NOT God's will. The child, however, is the will of God and his/her life should not be ended, since he/she had nothing to do with his/her conception.

Liberals would punish the child for the crimes of the rapist.

FIRST DEBATE IMPRESSIONS

Looking angry and snarky, President BO (the child president) took a clever tack during this, the final debate before the election.

There were times when he seemed to be trying to will daggers to fly from his eyes and stab Mitt Romney in the heart.

I have never witnessed those expressions on the faces of presidential candidates before.

To me, Romney seemed a little laid back most of the time, with a few exceptions when he seemed to become animated.

Romney scored some points when he pointed out PBO (tcp)’s omission of  Israel on his mid-Eastern tour.

We all knew going in that Obama could not possibly run on his record, which is dismal at best.

But President BO (the child president was not going to let that get him down. Instead he just invented a record that did not exist and chose to run on that.

According to him, for instance, he never went on an “apology tour.”

But, of course, he did.

His claim about Iraq, for instance, that he had never sought to keep 10,000 troops there was false, but he said that he had never asked for them to begin with.

He accused Romney of seeking to keep them there, as though it would have been a bad thing, even though he, himself, had asked for the same thing.

Recalling Obama’s unintended revelation that Russia’s Putin’s could count on “,,,more flexibility,” Romney promised to show more backbone, not more flexibility.

As for his agenda for his new administration, if re-elected, Obama seems to think that attacking Governor Romney will make a good one. It’s the only agenda he put forth during this last debate.

To me, it seemed like a bit of a boring, necessity, as neither candidate gave me any leg tingles.

If you were to force me to pick a winner, it would be Romney, for two reasons: 1) I’m a conservative, and he’s closer to that than Obama is; and 2) he was more “presidential” than President BO (the child president) has been since he took office and certainly than he was during the debate.

WHY BY TOPIC 01

TERROR

If you are a liberal, are you smart enough to know the difference between statements people make that are of a general nature and those that are of a specific nature?

So, when President BO (the child president) said he said the attacks on Benghazi were acts of terror on the very first day, was he telling the truth, or had he been speaking about terrorism in general?

And if he thought they were acts of terror on the very first day, why did he then spend the next 14 days talking about them being protests against a stupid video? And why did he allow his staff and representatives to say the very same thing, without one more reference to them being acts of terror?

If he was “investigating” and did not know, why did he offer any explanation al all until the “investigation” was over?

How come the smartest man to occupy the White House didn’t recognize what these attacks were when a stupid little conservative like me knew immediately that they were planned acts of terror?

BANKRUPTCY

Why would President BO (the child president) state that candidate Romney “…wanted to take them (auto manufacturers and others) into bankruptcy without providing them any way to stay open,” when bankruptcy is designed to allow a business to stay open while reorganizing to become profitable?

Why is PBO (tcp) still insisting that the bailouts were the proper way to deal with the auto, banking and other industries, and that almost all of the bailout money has been “paid back” when nothing could be further from the truth?

How well is the government subsidized Chevy Volt doing? Have they had to lay off any workers lately? Just a few, or many?

What about the so-called “green” companies Obama pressed to support? How many of them are still in business? Might allowing them to go through the proper bankruptcy procedures saved them?

OIL AND GAS ON FEDERAL LANDS

What could be the motive for President BO (the child president) claiming that oil and gas production on federal lands is up when in fact oil and gas production on federal lands is down? Doe the fact that he closed off a great deal of the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska to more development not count or something?

Why does he try to take credit for more production on private land but opposes more production of oil and gas in this country whenever possible?

Does it make sense to reduce off shore drilling in U.S. waters while sending taxpayer dollars to Brazil for their off shore drilling?

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.

THE EVENT SPURIOUSLY CALLED A DEBATE

I can’t believe I watched the whole thing.

I did so out of fear that President BO (the child president) might actually have something of substance and truth to say about his record during the four years of his hopefully one-term presidency.

To read the liberal blogs and to listen to the liberal MSM, one might think that’s exactly what he did.

Not exactly. In fact, not at all.

With his able side-kick, Candy Girl, he re-hashed some of his commercials, copying their scripts jot and tittle. Nothing new there.

Then he repeated the same lies about Romney’s record that he has used before. Nothing new there.

Oooo! There were the points he scored when he proclaimed the trend in drilling permits have gone up during his tenure thus far. Only they were negative points, because they were not true.

Drilling permits have been slashed by 36% since PBO (tcp) took office.

Oh! And on coal production, the president asserted, “We have seen increases in coal production…”

His very own Department of Energy says coal production is down from 2008.

Well, yes, but there was his assertion that he had called the Benghazi attack “acts of terrorism”” from the Rose Garden on the day of the attack.

Of course, from the Rose Garden he spoke generally, not specifically. If he was really being specific and referring to the Benghazi attack, then he spent the next 14 days refuting himself, saying they were reaction to “an offensive” video, until he decided to un-refute himself and say they were perpetrated by terrorists.

Nothing like being clear. And he was…nothing like being clear.

With regard to Lybia, President BO (the child president) rambled on about his “responsibility” while he still doesn’t know what happened more than 36 days later.

How can you liberals think he is so smart when he can’t figure that elementary slice of foreign affairs out? I figured it out weeks ago.

And I guess he didn’t know how to answer the questioner’s question about Lybia, because he never did get around to it.

I must be smarter than he is…no doubt.

Don’t forget his statements about the Arizona immigration enforcement law. While the law is clearly written to prohibit ethnic profiling by law enforcement officers when they stop someone, PBO (tcp) specifically stated that it does not do so.

When PBO (tcp) went after Romney’s pension, accusing him of investing in China, Romney shot back, “Have you looked at your pension lately?”

The smartest man to ever occupy the White House had no answer.

I LOVED President BO’s answer to the issue of higher gas taxes. Gas taxes are higher now than when he took office because of economic growth!

If the economy keeps growing like that, we’ll all be broke before the end of the year.

History was made during the debate, as the first black president in history came to the defense of George W. Bush!! I kid you not.

The President said, “You know, there are some things where Governor Romney is different from George Bush. George Bush didn't propose turning Medicare into a voucher. George Bush embraced comprehensive immigration reform. He didn't call for self-deportation. George Bush never suggested that we eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood, so there are differences between Governor Romney and George Bush…”

Of course, he meant it all as a slam on Romney, but it was pretty comical.

Ladies, you can be encouraged.

President BO (the child president) stood four-square in favor of fair pay for women.

Let’s all just ignore the fact that women are paid less in the White House than men doing the same jobs.

On the jobs side of the presidential equation, the President was clear. The young man who asked about his job prospects after college was greeted with the prospect of having to take a job for which he is not currently being trained.

Obama’s response was focused only on manufacturing jobs! Bet that kid felt better!

In his closing remarks, President BO (the child president) spoke of his undying faith in American rugged individualism and self-reliance, things he has both said and demonstrated he doesn’t believe in!

To his credit, PBO (tcp) didn’t sleep through this one as he did in the last (first) one.

No, he was awake and flailing this way and that, speaking in measured incoherence. He rambled at his very level of competence.

On several occasions, I thought he might actually go into the audience and hug somebody.

Once I was acutely aware of his disdain for Romney and Americans in general, and the hard, evil, anger welling up inside of him when he curtly told Romney to “continue.” WOW! What a look!

If in the eyes of Americans in general Obama did not lose this debate, I have no regard or hope for them.

Thankfully, that is not the case,

They know who lost and who won.

SO WHAT IS THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE AGAIN?

COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate in America .
ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible Times. It's 9%.
COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?
ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.
COSTELLO: You just said 9%.

ABBOTT: 9% Unemployed.

COSTELLO: Right 9% out of work.

ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.

COSTELLO: Okay, so it's 16% unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, that's 9%...

COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE. Is it 9% or 16%?

ABBOTT: 9% are unemployed. 16% are out of work.

COSTELLO: IF you are out of work you are unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, you can't count the "Out of Work" as the unemployed. You have to look for work to be unemployed.

COSTELLO: BUT THEY ARE OUT OF WORK!!!

ABBOTT: No, you miss my point.

COSTELLO: What point?

ABBOTT: Someone who doesn't look for work, can't be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn't be fair.

COSTELLO: To whom?

ABBOTT: The unemployed.

COSTELLO: But they are ALL out of work.

ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work. Those who are out of work stopped looking. They gave up. And, if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.

COSTELLO: So if you're off the unemployment rolls, that would count as less unemployment?

ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!

COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?

ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That's how you get to 9%. Otherwise it would be 16%. You don't want to read about 16% unemployment, do ya?

COSTELLO: That would be frightening.

ABBOTT: Absolutely.

COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there are two ways to bring down the unemployment number?

ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.

COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?

ABBOTT: Correct.

COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?

ABBOTT: Bingo.

COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to just stop looking for work.

ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like an economist.

COSTELLO: I don't even know what I just said!

ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like a politician.

IF ONLY HE'D BEEN LAUGHING AT JOKES!

But he wasn't laughing at jokes, he was ridiculing everything Ryan said. That's what all liberals do all the time. When they can't face the facts or dispute them, they ridicule. Happens in the comments on this blog all the time. And it happened in the VP debate.

DEBATING THE DEBATE

Let’s start with Martha Raddatz.

I heard Gwen Ifell say several times that Martha did a great job moderating the debate.

No, she didn’t.

She “challenged” Biden only twice and then gave him the answer she wanted to hear from him.

When she challenged Ryan, she tried to answer her question before she asked it and tried to back him into a corner.

To his credit, Ryan did not get stuck in that corner.

That said, I thought the debate was slightly less lost by Ryan than by Biden.

Is that a win? Time will tell

Stylistically, it was a Ryan run away.

Biden was boorish, snide, always grinning, often in inappropriate places, smirking and making strange noises at odd times.

Joe also spoke forcefully, but was mired in a hodge-podge of subjects all crammed into one flailing statement after another.

He seemed to admit that Iran is closer to having the materials needed for nuclear weapons than has been admitted to date.

He also contradicted the State Department about security surrounding the events at Benghazi.

The Vice President seemed taken aback for a moment when Ryan pointed out the unemployment rate in Biden’s own home town.

I wonder whether anyone caught Biden’s assertion that he voted against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

He did not.

Ryan had a couple of effective jabs when he reminded Biden that he was under duress to make up for lost ground and then when he reminded him that sometimes the right words don’t come out of his mouth.

He drank a lot of water, though.

Ryan was also much more clear and organized with his answers. He had the Romney talking points down pat and expressed them well.

He was also more “presidential” than Biden, and anyone who was honest would have to say that if Obama dies in office or Romney dies after being elected, based on tonight’s performance, Ryan would be the man most suited for the White House.

It is my opinion that Ryan had a rather lack-luster win in this debate. On the other hand, it is hard for me to imagine how a vice presidential debate could be all that lustrous to begin with.

All-in-all, it was, at the very least, entertaining.

HOW BLIND ARE YOU?

Back on June 5, 2009, then Senator Obama, soon to become President BO (the child president), was speaking before an audience at Hampton University.

His speech was strange sounding, not like the suave, sophisticated enunciation and educated “perfection” for which he is “known.”

His speech sounded ethnically modified, using certain identifiable expressions and modulations. It sounded almost like something out of a ghetto.

One might wonder whether the fact that he was speaking to a predominantly black audience would have anything to do with his sudden speech pattern.

In his speech he departed from his prepared remarks to talk about the Stafford Act, an act that requires communities that receive government relief from disasters to ante up 10% as much as is contributed by the feds.

The Senator expressed disdain that the Stafford Act had been waved in Florida after hurricane Andrew and in New York after 9/11, but not in New Orleans, because it was so predominantly black in population.

His words: “But the people in New Orleans — predominantly black — “they don’t care about as much,”

Turns out that on May 24th, less than two weeks before his June 5th speech, Senator Obama had been in the Senate voting as part of an 80-14 vote to waive the 10% requirement for New Orleans. He voted in favor of the bill.

Subsequently, more money was used to help rebuild New Orleans than in Florida and New York combined!

I wonder whether he actually knew that before his Hampton University speech?

If not, how can he be considered to be the smartest man to ever occupy the White House? After all, he, himself, took part in the vote to wave the requirement for New Orleans.

Since the Senate keeps records of such things, we know he was present and we know how he voted.

Is it possible that at Hampton University Obama actually knew he was not telling the truth?

By the way, if you’d like to read a transcript of that speech, it is available HERE. And the Congressional Record of Senator Obama's vote can be found HERE.

You might think to yourself, “Well! This is old news.

It might be, but it tells us a lot about the character and believability of the man who currently occupies the position of trust and power called the presidency.

On the other hand, if you’re a liberal, you will no doubt count this as not important.

Some people are blind because they refuse to see.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REST OF OBAMACARE, AREN'T YOU?

Obamacare Fines Begin For Hospitals That Readmit Sick Patients

Hospitals who re-admit patients within 30 days after they were discharged will now have to, under an Obamacare provision, pay fines as of October 1, 2012, which could force hospitals to slash programs that help the elderly, the poor, and the chronically ill.

According to a study, "about two-thirds of the hospitals serving Medicare patients, or some 2,200 facilities, will be hit with penalties averaging around $125,000 per facility this coming year."

HE'S JUST BRILLIANT!

"Hi. This is the President. Is Senator Lieberman in?"

"Not today, Sir. This is Yom Kippur."

"Well, hello, Yom. Can I leave a message?"

ARGUABLY A LACK-LUSTER PERFORMANCE FOR PBO (tcp)

To pretend that Romney hit one out of the park in Wednesday night's debate is polyannish at best.

Did he "win" the debate?

Yes.

But he has to get better if he is going to win the election.

As for Obama, he was the most unpresidential debater I have witnessed in my 70 years.

His body language was submissive and insecure. He had no "barbs" to effectively use and did not outline any sort of plan with any specifics for his second term.

He did better than I thought he would without his TelePrompTer, but sounded like his preparation took the form of "if Romney says this, you say this." It was stilted and empty.

"Big Bird" was one of the focuses of the MSM the morning after. That, of course, in response to Romney's inclusion of PBS as one of the programs he would cut.

All three of the networks I watched Thursday morning, CBS's "CBSThis Morning," NBC's "Today Show," and ABC's "Good Morning America" all claimed that President BO (the child president) made a big mistake in leaving Bain Capital, exports to China and a couple of other issues "on the cutting floor" (a phrase used by all three networks).

Truth is, PBO (tcp) HAD to leave them "on the cutting floor" or he would have been sliced to pieces over them, since they are not true.

All in all, the debate leaned in favor of Mitt Romney, but I sure hope he does not rest on his laurels.

He'll have to be prepared for a full frontal attack, as well as a number of sneaky assaults from the rear.

If he let's up or is unprepared, he will sink his own ship.

Let's pray that that does not happen.

WHY WE'RE SUPPOSE TO LOVE AND TRUST HIM

On September 11, 2008, Barack Obama said, “Washington is broken. My whole campaign has been premised from the start on the idea that we have to fundamentally change how Washington works.”

He was certainly right that Washington is broken.

Obama really believed that he could fix Washington by his own force of will and “self-discipline.”

In December of 2011, on 60 minutes, President BO (the child president) said, “I didn’t over promise and I didn’t underestimate how tough this was gonna be.”

In November of 2008, Obama said, “I think the I’m a better speech writer than my speech writers. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

Some might call this self-confidence. Others would recognize it as pure narcissism.

The statement was grossly inaccurate. He has, in fact, been a particularly poor political director and a very poor communicator.

To be fair, on the TelePrompTer, he reads well. Extemporaneously, he is the pits.

His most infamous quote might have been, “If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.”

That was in February of 2009.

He hasn’t done it, and there is a sadly good chance that it is NOT going to be a one-term proposition…that is, if you believe the current polls.

We still have unemployment above 8%, a housing market that is dismal, at best, an economy that is as bad off now as it was when President BO (the child president) started “fixing” things with government interventions by decree.

“Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not, and a way that Bill Clinton did not.”

That quote, to the Reno Gazette-Journal in January 2008, was designed partly to taunt Hillary Rodham Clinton during Obama’s nomination fight against her. But it’s also plain that Obama really believed this.

Obama’s promise to close Guantanamo (Guantanamo will be closed no later than one year from now”) is one prediction that even his friends fault him on.

One of President BO (the child president)’s minions, David Axelrod, on NBC, proclaimed, “I think that health care, over time, is going to become more popular.”

This was an idea shared by the president.

He was wrong.

Only about 40% of the populace have any favorable comments about AHA.

He had said, “I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.”

But when the time came, he took the opposite position.

That is, until an ABC interview (and subsequent speech) when he did a double-back and decided to favor gay marriage again…sort of.

One of President BO (the child president)’s most bizarre stances was his decision to support a “green” company that built solar panels. He said, “It’s here that companies like Solyndra are leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.”

Solyndra then quickly went bankrupt, wasting $535 million taxpayer dollars.

In July of 2008, Obama said, “I fought you in the Senate for comprehensive immigration reform. And I will make it a top priority in my first year as President.”

I’m not sure what he means by “top priority,” because he has had so many it make your head spin.

Two weeks ago, on Univision, he blamed the bad economy, the Republicans and  his inability to predict how hard the problem would be to solve as the reason why he never made a single, solitary legitimate effort to do anything at all about immigration.

All of these (any many, many more) are the very reasons liberals love President BO (the child president) so much that they wasn’t to re-elect him.

They  have deep respect for his truthfulness, his integrity, his ability to lead and his strength of character.

Only trouble is, he has none of any of it.

DEMS NEVER MET A TAX THEY DID NOT LOVE

The following is synopsized from an article at Americans for Tax Reform, Posted by John Kartch

Of the twenty new or higher taxes in Obamacare, below are the five worst that will be foisted upon Americans for the first time on January 1, 2013:

The Obamacare Medical Device Tax – a $20 billion tax increase: Medical device manufacturers employ 409,000 people in 12,000 plants across the country. Obamacare imposes a new 2.3 percent excise tax on gross sales. This will increase the cost of your health care – making everything from pacemakers to prosthetics more expensive.

The Obamacare “Special Needs Kids Tax” – a $13 billion tax increase: The 30-35 million Americans who use a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at work to pay for their family’s basic medical needs will face a new government cap of $2,500 (currently the accounts are unlimited under federal law, though employers are allowed to set a cap).

There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are several million families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. This Obamacare tax provision will limit the options available to these families.

The Obamacare Surtax on Investment Income – a $123 billion tax increase: This is a new, 3.8 percentage point surtax on investment income earned in households making at least $250,000 ($200,000 single).

The Obamacare “Haircut” for Medical Itemized Deductions – a $15.2 billion tax increase: This tax increase imposes a threshold of 10 percent of AGI. By limiting this deduction, Obamacare widens the net of taxable income for the sickest Americans. This tax provision will most harm near retirees and those with modest incomes but high medical bills.

The Obamacare Medicare Payroll Tax Hike -- an $86.8 billion tax increase: The Medicare payroll tax is currently 2.9 percent on all wages and self-employment profits.  This is a direct marginal income tax hike on small business owners, who are liable for self-employment tax in most cases.
