I THINK, THEREFORE I WANT BETTER

Well, bonehead Boehner says, “Let’s challenge ourselves to find the common ground that has eluded us."
He also said Republicans are open to raising revenue by reforming the tax code with the help of Obama.

In other words, let's do more of what kept us from overcoming President BO (the amateur president)'s machine in the first place.

NEWSFLASH, Mr. Boehner! You don't get better by doing more of what kept you from being good in the first place!

What Republican leaders have to start realizing is that they failed the base! Their base is as conservative as can be, and they keep thinking that they are somewhere left of due East.

Romney would have made a much better president than PBO(tap). He would have managed well, and might well have brought some level of fiscal sanity back to Washington DC.

He lost because he did not appeal to the base. He appealed much more to RINOs.

The rest of us went along with him because we believed Anybody but Obama.

That, however, proved to be our undoing.

The Republican Party, as a whole, has given the majority (conservatives) no reason to stick with them.

A legitimate third Party is all we have left.

I say let the RINOs languish. Let them flap in the wind. Let them die off slowly (or more deservedly, quickly).

They will not lead. They will not stand firm. They will not develop a backbone. They will not be consistent. They will not accept the will of their majority constituent.

So, let them rot.

They've given us two fraudulent "conservatives" in John McCain and Mitt Romney. Let's not let them ever do that to us again.

Let's find and develop a true conservative and begin grooming him/her for 2016, if we even have free elections in 2016.

President BO (the amateur president) kicked your ass.

And he won because he organized on the ground far better than Governor Olympics.

I think that is an excellent idea. You recognize the R party is going the way of the Whigs. Get more anti-government people in government, that's the ticket.

You can't just blog about it, Joe. Leadership and organization are needed to start a third party. The time to act is now, brother. Is there anyone out there now who's rigid enough to meet your purity test?

Where is John Galt?

He won because of the morons that voted for him

Wow. So completely out of touch with reality.

You just don't get it.

The majority of Americans ARE NOT CONSERVATIVES.

That's why your candidate lost. Go more conservative and you will lose by an even larger margin.

You are clinging to an ancient ideology that has been tossed on the scrap heap of history.

There will never ever be another conservative President.

XO: "The majority of Americans ARE NOT CONSERVATIVES."

Wrong. The majority of Americans ARE conservatives.

Not Tuesday night they weren't.

Joe, try to revive Sarah Palin. That's what the party needs.

Or maybe Allen West.
Joe, the Tea Baggers were absolutely decimated. There will be a final purge as the country moves back to sanity.

Oh geeezzz, we. Just don't get it!

Oh crap,we still don't get it.

Ducky: "Not Tuesday night they weren't."

You're confusing Americans in general with voters.

The majority of Americans either did not vote or did not vote their convictions.

Joe - "The majority of Americans either did not vote or did not vote their convictions."

Wow. Talk about denial.

Joe, do you have any empirical data that backs up that statement?

You are starting to sound like Karl Rove when he challenged FOX News after they called the election for President Obama.

Just continuing to say something does not make it true... you need some verifiable evidence or some hard data or numbers to back that up.

Joe said...

DM: "...empirical data that backs up that statement?"

I AM the only required data.

Better to sound live Karl Rove than Chris Mathews!

Don't you think?

Joe - That's the spirit. Let's start talking about the next election - maybe have some negative ads already.

Isn't Mitt going to run again?
Or how about Gen. Petraeus. I hear he is free now. And everyone will have forgotten about his admitted transgression - so that won't be a problem. Or there's always Jeb Bush. Maybe Sarah Palin. Think of the possibilities.

And what about you - Joe.

No.

David Koch: 400 million and I get what?

Sheldon Edelson: Look Rove, the vigorish is due. I get a return on my 100 million or you sleep with the fish.

You really want to be in Rove's place?

Joe - Kudos for the LBJ quote. Can you imagine any politician these days making such a bold, unequivocal declaration?

Joe said...

XO: " Kudos for the LBJ quote."

Uh...that was Pat Paulson from the old Smothers Brothers show.

Xavier Onassis said...

Joe - I hate it when you're right. No, I mean it. I really, REALLY hate it when you're right. LOL! But I was so close and Pat Paulson's speech was based on a real one by LBJ and my question still stands. Can you imagine any modern politician so definitively saying "I'm done."?

Here is LBJ: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYqmO0PJ5Zk&feature=fvwrel

You must spend an awful lot of time hating!

Joe, you watched the Smothers Bros?

I can see you as a Share a Little 't' with Goldie fan.
