TWO COMPETING VIEWS

"Congressman Ryan is a decent man. He's a family man. He's an articulate spokesman for Gov. Romney's vision," Obama said during his 25 minutes of remarks at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. "But it's a vision that I fundamentally disagree with."

You betcha he does.

Romney/Ryan: Earn it

Obama: Let the government (taxpayer) give it to you.

Romney/Ryan: Lower taxes on everyone.

Obama: Raise taxes on the rich and sneak some from the "middle class" in AHA.

Romney/Ryan: Balance the budget with spending cuts.

Obama: Balance the budget on the backs of those who provide jobs (a feat that cannot be accomplished, since even taking all they have would not balance the budget).

Romney/Ryan: Modify Social Security and Medicare IN THE FUTURE.

Obama: Pretend not to modify either, while using AHA to gut Medicare and increase cost to middle class.

Romney/Ryan: Rights come from nature and from God.

Obama: Government determines and grants or denies rights.

Romney/Ryan: America's greatness comes from her people.

Obama: America's greatness is overrated but comes from her government.

Romney/Ryan: America should be a leader in the world.

Obama: America should be brought down to the rest of the world's level.

Romney/Ryan: Government should provide equal opportunity, not equal outcomes.

Obama: Government should provide everybody with the same things (remember former USSR?).

Romney/Ryan: Businesses should rise and fall based on their business acumen.

Obama: Large corporations cannot be allowed to fail and government should bail them out (unless they are banks).

Romney/Ryan: The law should apply equally to all.

Obama: The law should apply the way government says it should apply, and it should not apply to government offices such as the Justice Department (think: Fast and Furious).

Romney/Ryan: America should be a Constitutional Republic.

Obama: America should be a quasi-socialist state.

Yep.

Two different views, alright.

Glad you are "up for it" Joe. That was a great analysis. Good Post-op Post.
So it was an outpatient procedure apparently?

Thank you, Lisa. Yes, it was outpatient. One more to go...maybe this afternooon.

Obama doesn't really believe that America should be a 'quasi-socialist state, Joe.

He's just being polite with that 'quasi' stuff.

In his heart of hearts, he would love to see America as a totally, dyed in the wool 100% hard core Socialist state.

That 'quasi' thing is just something his PR people threw in their to make his philosophy just a bit more palatable.

That's why his vision and that of Paul Ryan are completely polar opposites of each other.

We'ved already seen what an Obama Nation looks like. It is time to see what a patriot nation looks like.

Fredd: "He's just being polite with that 'quasi' stuff."

Actually, I was just being "polite." I consider him to be a dyed-in-the-wool, hard core socialist.

GEC: Agreed! I say, "Hooray for the Red, White and Blue, and for all she can be with the right leadership."
