JUST ANOTHER LIE FROM PRESIDENT BO (The Child President)

Ryan and his Republican followers are holding up legislation?

No, they're not.

They passed the farm bill in the House of Representatives.

It is the Democrat controlled Senate that is holding up the Farm Bill.

Just another lie, told with a straight face thay you liberals will swollow hook, line and sinker.

Sigh!

ROMNEY/RYAN, November 2012 ..

They must be doing something Right, or the Progressives wouldn't be so scared.

No, they did not. They passed a relief bill for cattle ranchers 20 minutes before they adjourned and days after the Senate had adjourned for the Aug. recess. The Senate passed a farm bill, with a bi-partisan vote of 64-35, in June and it was passed out of the House Ag committee in July. The crazies in the House, like Paul Ryan, prevented it from coming to the floor.

The farm bill is something very specific. It covers 5 years of ag and nutrition budget and it contains disaster relief, for more than just cattle ranchers. Estimates are now that 80% of the corn and soy crop will be lost to the drought (which Boehner blamed on Obama, BTW) The current farm bill expires Sept. 30.

The House took a cynical vote to try and get political cover and Ed Henry and Fox oblige. It is a lie that the House passed a farm bill.

And added to the Farm Bill is an expansion of food stamps. Just like the Democrats do with every bill so they can call Republicans those meanies who don't care about Grandma, people with disabilities and poor people.
The democrats are a bunch of snakes, pretending to care while playing politics with people's lives.
Amazing how they fool so many. Like LBJ said "He will have them voting democrat for the next 200 years". It's never been about the people with them, but always about themselves just like Obama's presidency has alway been about him.

Lisa, sweetheart, the farm bill passed out of the Senate cuts $24B from current spending levels on food stamps.

Where do you get your 'information'? You have no idea what you are talking about.

"He will have them ni**ers [sic] voting democrat for the next 200 years"

A third person "quote" from a Ron Kessler book. Excellent source.

You've got a little backwards, Craig. The farm bill is sitting in the Senate right now. The bill was passed in the House.

The reason it's sitting in the Senate is because the majority leadership in the Senate has balked at the means testing provision in the food stamp portion of the bill the House sent back to the Senate.

The food stamp program makes up 80% on the monies in the bill.....7 hundred some odd billion dollars.

The house voted on it's own bill....that's what it stuck in the Senate right now.

Thanks Scotty I was just going to clarify:

The House bill would cut $35 billion from existing programs, with $16 billion of that, or four times more than in the Senate bill, from food stamps. About 80 percent of farm bill spending goes to food stamps.

Either way the democrats always get people to believe the republicans don't care about people.
We have to start cutting somewhere. If it were up to Obama and the dems, we would all be on food stamps. Paying more in taxes to do it but hey it helps him get votes

This shouldn't be that hard to understand. It's been in the newspapers and everything. Senate Passes Farm Bill With Bipartisan Support.

We have to start cutting somewhere.

Taking food from the hungry is the logical place to start. We've got to cut Mitt Romney's taxes, for Pete's sake.

Or we can stop encouraging people to go on the program like Obama is doing to get votes.

That 's the democrats goal, expand government not because they"care but for votes. Like LBJ said. Se how well that worked out? Now we have more unmarried women with several children from several different fathers.
Have a listen

That's only half of the story, Craig. The bill was re-written and sent back to the Senate......you may not know it but, that's how the system works! It's not that hard to understand.

Please, show me the bill. This is from Rupert Murdochs' WSJ

Mr. Boehner told reporters last week that he didn't have the votes to pass the farm bill,

Again, the House passed a drought relief bill for cattle ranchers. Just because they put the word "farm" in it doesn't make it the farm bill.

A rational person might say, "oh, I was misinformed" and move on. You insist on flaunting your ignorance. Until you can show me a re-written farm bill passed by the House, stay down. You're embarrassing yourself.

Bout to Craig on a unanimous decision.

Looks like Craig has this under control with, ya know, actual facts.

To All: Have you noticed how liberal Democrats just ignore or change the meaning of words when they want to make their "points?"

Marriage, unalienable rights, farm and the like.

They're amazing!

Since nothing really means anything, anything they want a word to mean, it means, at least in their small, rigid brains.
