EAT MOR CHICKEN

Let me get this straight.

As a business owner, Dan Cathy has the right to "free speech," but if he exercises that right in a way that offends liberals, he will have consequences to pay.

Was that about right?

Seems to me that is a contradiction.

Either that or someone has changed the meaning of "free."

On this very blog, left wingers have told me I am horrible for not allowing them their free speech. Some have even "left" me because I delete their comments.

That's OK. I don't write for them, anyway. I write for me If you don't want to read it, don't.

But freedom of expression with liberals is a one way street. They want their freedom to speak, even vulgarities, ugliness, hatred for the right, and so forth, but they don't want to afford the same freedoms to people who disagree with them.

Gays are planning a "Kiss-In" against Chick-Fil-A today.

Do you think they'll turn out in numbers approaching those who turned out in support of Dan Cathy's right to speak his mind?

Will they hurt the restaurant chains bottom line as much as Wednesday's supporters helped it?

Why are we even fighting this "battle" in America, land of the free and home of the brave?

Are we no longer the land of the free?

Has someone overturned the First Amendment?

Joe, this 'kiss-in' today will get enormous coverage of 13 homosexuals in six different cities, and the mainstream media will proclaim that this protest equals or exceeds the Chick-fil-A Revolution numbers (which they virtually ignored).

Wanna bet that this is exactly what happens today?

PS: which pinko commie liberals 'left' your site because you didn't let them rant and rave on your dime? That calls for a celebration of some sort, if you ask me.

Joe - There is no contradiction. Dan Cathay is free to hold whatever hate filled, bigoted point of view he chooses and give voice to it if he is so inclined. No one is trying to take that freedom away from him.

I also have the freedom to choose where I spend my money and my choice is to not give my money to someone who holds such views. And I am also free to get together with as many of my friends as I care to and agree that none of us will give our money to Dan Cathay.

It's freedom all around! Freedom for everybody!

That should make you happy.

Notice how liberals take a statement about someone supporting traditional marriage and turning it around(like they always do) calling it bigoted, hate speech and "crucifying" them for using that free speech.
The only ones who don't have the same right are our democrat public officials who constantly use their bully pulpit to attack business people(Obama),republicans(Debbie Wasserman,Obama and Pelosi),Tea Party Patriots(Pelosi and her democrat buddies) and Mitt Romney(Harry Reid)

I bet they dare never do a "kiss in' in front of a Muslim owned business,or all them bigoted and hateful had they expressed the same views if asked. And we know they do have the same views.

I am most befuddled by the way people try to frame this whole same sex marriage issue as “a war on marriage”.

That makes no sense.

Let’s say my business is selling Twinkies. Twinkie sales have been steadily declining for years and there is a real possibility that Twinkies may disappear altogether.

But wait! I’ve discovered a whole new market! They want Twinkies! They’ve never been able to get Twinkies before, but they’ve heard about them and they want them! They are clamoring for Twinkies!

So if I decide to sell my Twinkies to this new, untapped market, how on earth could that possibly be construed as a War on Twinkies? Seems to me like I’m saving and expanding the Twinkie Market! Why isn’t that a good thing?

The MSM and our local MSM completely ignored the thousands of people that ate at CFA but had interviewed the only 4 gay protesters at our local establishment.

We just went to support our 1st amendment rights and ate some food.

The media and gays blew this thing way out proportion. This was NOT a protest, good grief!

What I'm about to do adds absolutely nothing to the discussion.

I'm only posting this juvenile "Beevis and Butthead" comment to give Joe something to delete. He likes deleting stuff.

So hear ya go buddy. Don't say I never gave you anything.

Leticia said "...gays blew this thing..." Heh heh!

Seems this protest was a total flop. And once again, libs proved that they can\'t play with adults.

Disagree with a liberal and you are a hater. Vandalize a business and you are a lefty hero.

TQM: "...calls Obama a divider."

I have $100.00 in my pocket for you for any time you have ever read something I wrote that called President BO (the child president) a "divider."

He IS a Marxist. He IS a statist. He DOES believe government is the answer to all problems. He DOES believe that the government IS America. He IS a narcicist. He IS either the consumate liar or very stupid.

But I have never called him a divider.

Now that you mention it, though...

You said: "Only a idiot, and a bigot, like Jo-Joe Politico would think he was Muslim?"

Was that really a question? You used a question mark. Maybe you don't know any better.

I have another $100.00 in my pocket if you can find one post where I called President BO (the child president) a Muslim.

I never have.

You also wrote: "Jo-Joe Politico makes medication for paranoia."

What does that even mean? I don't MAKE medicines for anything. Do you even read your writings before you post them or are you just that ignorant?

All of that and you are off-topic as well. Do you know what happens to off topic comments?

Turns out you are a dyed-in-the-wool racist and a liar, to boot.
