Talking about whether or not Mitt Romney would have taken out OBL, President BO (the child president) said:
“I assume that people meant what they said when they said it. That’s been at least my practice.”
O has it, now?
Consider:
“No family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.”
“As president, I will close Guantanamo.”
“But what I can guarantee is that we will have in the first year an immigration bill that I strongly support.”
“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
“My administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in government.”
“I will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American people an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website.”
“No political appointee in an Obama-Biden administration will be permitted to work on regulations or contracts directly and substantially related to their prior employer for two years.”
“I’ll give an annual State of the World address to the American people where I lay out national security policy.”

So, have they? If so, please provide links proving your assertion. I know my taxes haven't gone up in the last 3 years. Have yours?
“As president, I will close Guantanamo.”
He tried. But the paranoid, pandering, gutless congress shut him down. He's a President, not a dictator. He doesn't have absolute power.
“But what I can guarantee is that we will have in the first year an immigration bill that I strongly support.”
Haven't been following the issue because I don't care how many immigrants we have. The more the better. They work harder than Americans and whine way less.
“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
That's still true! You had hip surgery recently. Did the Federal Government dictate to you who your surgeon would be? Did the Federal Government take your preferred doctor away from you?
“My administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in government.”

"White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan on Monday spoke openly -- and at great length -- about what has long been one of the government’s most controversial official secrets: the use of remotely piloted drones to kill suspected terrorists.
One U.S. intelligence official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told NBC News that the speech represents “a pretty big sea change for us” in terms of what officials will now be permitted to talk about.
“The president can declassify anything he wants,” said the official, adding that Brennan – as the representative of the president — can speak about anything his boss wants him to discuss."
I don't know anything about the rest of the points and since I had FREE PASSES TO AN ADVANCE SCREENING OF "THE AVENGERS" TONIGHT I'm all shagged out and need to go to bed.
BTW, The Avengers is the greatest movie ever made. Period.

This belief, which I imagine is probably shared by many of your compatriots, is emblematic of the reasons why your politicians are able to operate the way they do - you know, dancing in flaming pantaloons and all?
Style and gewgaws over substance.
It's the American Way!
Hey Mr. Gutsy! STOP using our troops for your photo OPS, and STOP pronouncing Paaaakistan and Talllllybomb like a Muslim.. Oh I forgot you are a Muslim.
XO: The Avengers is a movie indicative of your values and level of maturity.
ALTC: You're on to something.
DB: Flaming pants...it's all the rage.
Mr. Darth Bacon,
It is only in the United States where the 'a's in the proper noun 'Pakistan' are pronounced like the 'a' in 'apple'. The rest of the world, the literate ones that is, pronounce the 'a's as they are in 'father'.
I pronounce 'United States' thusly: 'you-KNIT-ted Stats'('a' as in 'apple') - gets laughs, it does.
Day-O
Day-O
Come Mr. Tally Ban tally me I E D.
Daylight come and me wan' go boom.
With apologies to the great Harry Belafonte
Aquarian ..
Screw Mr. Harry Belafonte and the Banana Boat he rowed to America in.
".....Talking about whether or not Mitt Romney would have taken out OBL,...."
If the incessant visitations to my doorstep by pairs of very clean-cut, neat. polite, and more often than not, horribly white(1) young men is any indication - I suspect he would have tried to proselytise him first.
(1) I did, however, meet a nice young man who hailed from Faa'a, Tahiti - a place I have been. Through my feminine wiles I got him to join me in a toast to Tumu-nui, an ancestral Tahitian creation Deity, with some apple juice. Unbeknownst to him, the juice was spiked with some good organic scrumpy from the West Country(UK) - Devon I think - and a dash of Red Bull.
I am evil, I am.
Whoa, Aquarius, quit rocking the short bus.
Joe, what are your Top 10 films?
Aquarius, do you care for Satyajit Ray, Guru Dutt and the classic Indian cinema or is Bollywood schlock your thing?
I need to get to know my antagonists.
Dearest Bojangles,
I am Burmese - Myanmar, South East Asia.
India is South Asia.
Never the twain shall meet.
You consider 'passengers' of the short bus to be antagonists? Surely you think much better of yourself than that?
Burmese? I enjoy Burmese traditional music. They weren't hesitant to adopt western instruments and the result is compelling.
Piano technique reminds me a bit of Thelonios Monk. But I probably know more about Burmese music than you know about American jazz.
You are quite parochial.
