SPREAD A LITTLE HAPPINESS

Red Guards were a mass movement of civilians, mostly students and other young people China who were mobilized by Mao Zedong (Mao Tse-tung) in 1966 and 1967, during the Cultural Revolution.

They were recruited to sing, chant and proclaim the hope and change that was being brought about in China by the revered Chairman.

Before you watch the video below, click on this LINK and listen to the song and read the lyrics.

I'll wait.

OK...now watch the video below, of which I was reminded by Bumbling Genius .

Maybe you'll like this one, too.

I have an uneasy feeling that many of you don't get the connection, but for anyone of average intelligence or above, it should be obvious.

So, let me ask you: Do any of you remember the tune or the words to the songs school children in the U.S.A. were singing about Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, BJ Clinton, or George W. Bush?

Would you sing them to me, please?

Is this where we want to go?

I sometimes think the only reason liberals don't abort their kids is so they can exploit them later in life.

I think that this proves that governing and campaigning are two different things. As a preacher once said about preaching a bad sermon, "if the morter's thin, ya gotta throw it on hard". Well this is bad governing, so they have to go back and do what they do best, which is hard campaigning, which is the only thing that Obama has been good at. This is why it seems like every news report has the word "unprecedented" before the story, and why Pelose and her minions are the authors of this travesty they call health care reform.

I keep thinking that this video was out before the election and it was pulled. Do you know if this is true? I think it is.

TWO minus TWO is difficult for some people to calculate these days. they seem unable to add without the aid of a calculator. Therefore it is the responsibility of we who still know how to add and subtract, to explain this simple deduction and share it with those who are still teachable.

Unfortunately, Joe, some folks just want to play video games till they are brain-dead. selahV

Spreading A Little Happiness is not necessarily spreading truth, is it?

And I have Ducky at my place (Sunday Faith Blog) complaining that conservatives find it wrong for a president to encourage children! so many just don't get the connection.
HELP!
Great videos, Joe...VERY scary and very important to remember.

LR: That's a scary thought...but it may well be true.

Dan: The one about the children singing Obama's praises was out before the election. Whether or not it was pulled, I don't know.

SelahV: That is particularly difficult for those recently indoctrinated in government schools.

Bryan: Happiness does not equal truth. There is only one Truth.

Z: President BO's original intent was revealed in his giving the "write an paragraph about how you can help President Obama."

His intent remains the same, although the words have been changed, having been declared "inartful."

It is indeed despicable for Obama and his Marxist buddies to even attempt to indoctrinate children in this way, but I can't help feeling it is an exercise in futility.

As I pointed out over at my place, modern American children are spoiled and undisciplined. Obama can try to get them to listen to him, but kids don't have enough of an attention span to sit through one of Obama's stuttering, stammering indoctrination speeches and get anything, positive or negative, out of it, in my humble opinion.
