INFANTILISM PERSONIFIED!

Change is in the air.

A least we can hope so.

President BO plans to address a couple of groups of students Tuesday of next week.

That sounds all well and good, but the content of parts of his planned speeches were released to the public and a well deserved outcry ensued.

According to White House deputy policy director Heather Higginbottom, a part of the "lesson" in which President BO planned to ask students to "write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president" met with negative response.

Parents got upset at what they saw as indoctrination.

Well, what did they expect?

Could not this wisest, smartest group of assembled politicians and staff discern from the get-go that this was not a good thing?

According to Higginbottom, the White House revised the plans Wednesday to say students could "write letters to themselves about how they can achieve their short-term and long-term education goals."

"That was inartfully worded, and we corrected it," Higginbottom said.

Inartfully worded???

Inartfully worded???

WHAT IN THE NAME OF WHATEVER YOU WANT TO NAME HERE HAS ART GOT TO DO WITH IT??

Any person with more than a third grade education EVEN IN OUR GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS can see that the two assignments are not even remotely related! One was about the president, the other was about the student.

My liberal friends, are you so blind that you cannot understand that the "assignment" was deliberately phrased in such a way as to try to get children to adopt a mind set that children are supposed to help the president get done what he wants to get done? There was nothing inartful about it.

There was something diabolical about it to begin with.

The fact that the White House saw the need to change the assignment means that they thought it was OK and then they realized that it was not OK.

To be sure, other presidents have addressed students, including Ronald Reagan, who managed to sneak a little politics into his address.

But this was more than a little politics.

This was planned indoctrination on the order of the kinds of things done by the former U.S.S.R. and by Saddam Hussein, and other despotic leaders.

President BO, let me explain something to you that you seemingly are to infantile to have learned yet:

IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU, YOU DUMB SOPHOMORIC OAF!

It's about finding out what the American people need, based on feedback from them through their representatives in the Congress and Senate, and then SETTING OUT TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT THEY HAVE INDICATED THAT THEY WANT DONE!!!!!!!

Our whole government has turned the American system as inside out as a dirty sock.

It is time for you, liberal or conservative, to scream ENOUGH!!!

Let's have our disagreements.

Let's debate.

Let's wrench our souls trying to make this great experiment work as it was intended to work.

But for the sake of LIBERTY let's get these reprobates out of control and replace them with people whose egos are not the most important things in their lives.

I REFUSE to believe that there are not some really good, decent, wife/loving, family oriented, clear thinking people in this country who love The United States of America more than they love themselves, and who are willing to give up selfishness to help America be what she should be as they serve in public office.

As Katherine Lee Bates wrote: "O beautiful for heroes, proved in liberating strife, who more than self their country loved, and mercy more than life! America! America! May God thy gold refine 'till all success be nobleness, and every gain divine!"

I have one last message for the exceedingly infantile President BO, his staff, and his administration (along with the majority of our Congress persons and Senators):

GROW UP!!

Oh PUHleeze.

We've had this discussion. You're not interested in debate.

If you were truly interested in debate you wouldn't delete comments that you disagree with.

I've been blogging for over three years and I have never deleted a comment (not even yours) or done anything to stifle debate.

Don't even pretend you are interested in a real discussion about the issues.

XO: I have NEVER deleted your comments because I disagree with them. I have deleted them because you could not behave yourself as a decent human being. You presented no discussion and no factual information, only name calling, which seems to be the extent of your intellectual ability.

As usual, you missed the point of this post and chose instead to attack the poster.

(Actually, I doubt that you missed the point, I rather think you got the point, didn't like the point, couldn't think of any way to contradict the point and so jumped on something you DO know how to do, that is: defame others).

Don't tell me what I can and can't pretend to do.

If I want to pretend to be interested in an issue you bring up, I will do so, 'cause this is MY blog...get it? MINE!

I don't answer to you.

See...I don't answer to you.

In case you missed it, I don't answer to you.

Now, what were your arguments that President BO had not originally planned to ask the students to "write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president."

Have you some evidence that he did not originally plan to make that assignment?

His website says he did, and his policy director acknowledged that it was "inartful."

What is your argument that it did not happen?

Do you have one?

I thought not.

So why not just resort to insult and attack again.

You're really good at that, as well as at...well...I can't think of anything else you're good at.

It seems every year that someone or some group wants to tell my children what to think. I send my children to school that I pay for with my tax dollars to learn the fundamental building blocks for success, namely Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. I expect them to throw in some science and history to round out matters and leave the beliefs and morals to me.

By law my children are held, many times against their will, and forced to accept whatever insanity some fringe focus group places in front of them. If they say or do anything that shows disinterest or loathing of said group, they will be punished or ridiculed for their opinions or beliefs.

The school is no place for politics or political agendas. EDUCATION Thats IT.

I agree with Ablur.....education is for educating not pushing political views.

If Obama wants to encourage education, more power to him. I just have a problem with the "ways to help him" bit!

Liberals don't debate, they argue. They don't discuss, they engage in name-calling and insults. And when that fails, they might bite off your finger. Liberals get older, but they never grow up.

This is Karma. Back in 1991, when Bush Sr. gave a speech at a junior high school to urge kids to to study hard, avoid drugs and turn in troublemakers, the dems had a hissy fit. Two House committees demanded that the department explain the use of its funds for the speech. And House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt (remember him?) said, "The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students, and the president should be doing more about education than saying, 'Lights, camera, action." Oh, and one of the questions on the lesson plan was, "How can you help the president?"

They can dish it out, but they caaaan't take it.

ablur: There used to be public schools. Then they started getting as much money from the federal government as from the local community and state. Then they became government schools, 'cause what the "government" pays for, the "government" controls. So, naturally, they think they're in charge and can do or say anything they want...to our children, no less.

Jennifer: "If Obama wants to encourage education, more power to him." I agree...only his behavior says he doesn't. He wants to control it so he can indoctrinate the children.

LR: Yes, I remember thinking old Dick Gephardt was going to have appaplexy.

I respectfully disagree with you, Joe.

It most certainly IS about Obama.

If you don't believe it, just ask Obama.

Joe said...

Mark: At least you were respectful.

EVERYTHING is about Obama -- even his dog. He named it Bo - B.O. - Barack Obama.

The man is every bit as narcissistic as a Hitler, or a Mussolini or an Idi Amin. One of his followers even resorted to cannibalism the other day.

I remember when BO meant Body Odor.

XO, A Liberal friend of mine asked me once if I dialogue with those who disagree with me. I said, Dialogue? No. I argue.

Lone Ranger said...

A liberal friend? What's that like? I have liberal co-workers and liberal acquaintances, but I've never had a liberal friend.

Mark said...

Touche'. I should have said Liberal acquaintance.

You are right again, LR.

Joe said...

Mark and LR: I have recognized the "BO" factor from the get-go. I call him President BO. President out of respect for the office, and BO because he stinks.
So do his policies.

Joe

Great post but that's not why I'm here. Just wanted to drop you a line in case you don't drop back by The Bumbling Genius before you finish your next post. Just put a couple suggestions on there.

Thanks

Joe, my senator told us yesterday that he just has to tell us the truth, that he comes to his district and talks to us and sees what is really going on--how we really think. He then goes back to Washington and to be quite honest, he said, "there are no normal people in Washington." We are refreshing to him. He can hardly wait to get back to fight for us. Right now he's fighting to keep Gitmo open. He says all it costs the American people is 4,000 a year and Obama wants to close it down and spend millions in America for some other prison to house them. It's nuts. But then, what can we expect when there aren't any "normal people in Washington."

As far as the education goes, my daughter has decided to homeschool till the government takes away that freedom too. It's the only way to ensure your child is not being brainwashed. selahV

selahV: You have a good senator.

Home schooling is the only way to go.

Joe, our local newspaper had a front page article about Senator Mark Warner (D) Virginia this morning.

Warner is quoted saying he isn't in favor of a public option, and he favors tort reform, and he says Obama's health care plan is too expensive and won't solve the problems the present health care system has.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Warner is a Democrat I can relate to. In fact, I can't understand why he is a Democrat. he is definitely a Conservative.

Webb, on the other hand, is still repugnant.
