Joe - I would go so far to say that the weak applause was awkward. At times he had to wait a little until the applause came.
That's awkward.

sh: He certainly didn't seem to inspire them.
SK: I have no argument with that. But convention has differentiated people that way for centuries. It is clear that there are gradations of people's complexion from one group to another.
People come in very pale Irish tones to very dark skinned tones and everything in between. I was referring to the way anthropologists classified people for decades.
To say that there are no differences among peoples' skin colors is stupid. To place some value on those differences is equally stupid...for any group of them.
