I downloaded an anti-spyware program that put all kinds of mal-ware on my computer and caused it not to load programs, aps, etc.

That's why there have been no new posts.

I think I got rid of it and all of its remnants.

Time will tell.

Let me get this straight.

First Harry Reid has "reliable (but undisclosed) information"  that Mitt Romney has not paid income taxes in over 10 years.

Then Mitt Romney releases his tax returns.

They show he HAS paid income taxes.

So Harry Reid apologizes and says his sources must have been in error, right?

Wrong.

Instead, he starts this "he must be hiding something" stuff. He also says, "(Romney) is manipulating something."

Then the MainStream Media complains that Romney paid TOO MUCH income tax!!!!

You know what I think?

I think Harry Reid typifies the thinking of Democrats in general and liberal/progressive/leftists in particular.

I also think he is intrinsically evil to the core.

It's actually breath-taking.

The president was forced to alter his schedule to comment on a Tuesday attack on the American Embassy in Libya that killed four people, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, the White House Press Office said.

Had George Bush gone to Vegas for a fundraiser on a day like today, the nat'l political press would be in an uproar.

So, see, it was like this.

Some amateur video maker makes a video making fun of "the prophet MO."

As everyone knows, you can make fun of Christ, Bud-ah, Confucius and other religious leaders, but you had better not make fun of "the prophet MO" or you're in deep doo-doo. 

Anyway, this film makes the people of the "Religion of Peace" really mad and they set fire to one American embassy and blow up another, killing an American abbassador in the process. 

One video I saw showed a member of the "Religion of Peace" shaking his fist at the camera and shouting, "If you make us angry, we will kill you!"

Let me get this straight. A correct motive for killing someone is for someone else to make you angry.

What we are really dealing with here is a bunch of prehistoric barbarians, and that might be insulting to barbarians.

I have news for you members of the "Religion of Peace:" Your prophet IS a fake. He was a pedophile, morally corrupt evil man, and those who follow him are morally corrupt evil men.

Oh, and Allah is not just another name for God. It is the name of the Moon god.

You guys follow the Moon god! What a joke!

I just LOVED Rep James Clyburn's speech, didn't you?

I especially loved the part where he said:

“When too many of our senior citizens who were living their golden years in the darkness of economic security, Democratic President Franklin Roosevelt and a Democratic congress created Social Security, lighting a candle, while the Republicans cursed the darkness,...When too many of our elderly found their lives darkened by unaffordable and inaccessible health care, Lyndon Johnson and a Democratic Congress lit the candles of Medicare and Medicaid, while Republicans stood on the sidelines and cursed the darkness,...”  

WOW! What an indictment of the Republicans' record!

Only it isn't true.

It’s wrong to say that “Republicans stood on the sidelines” when the bills were being considered. On the final vote on Social Security, Republicans overwhelmingly supported the bill.

So, Clyburn's a liar. No surprise there.

But then there was Joe Biden's "fiery" speech.

It it Biden claimed that Romney once said “it’s not worth moving heaven and earth” to catch the infamous terrorist.

What Romney actually said was that the country’s focus should not be on one person, but it should be a “broader strategy to defeat the Islamic jihad movement.”

Biden. during his speech, also contended that “the experts” claim that Romney has a corporate tax plan that would create hundreds of thousands — 800,000 jobs, to be exact — overseas.

"Experts" did not claim that.

Well, one did conditionally, saying that it could happen but it is more likely that the lower ratewould attract foreign investment and lead to importing jobs

Oops! Joe Biden is a liar, too!

OK. We expect that from Biden. After all he's...he's...well, he's Joe Biden.

But the president's eloquent speech was there to give us the truth about the Republicans and Romney.

He pointed out claim that his tax plan would merely restore rates to what they were under President Bill Clinton’s administration. 

This, though, doesn't take into account the tax increases that the wealthy will face as a result of Obama care; these additional taxes kick in next year.

Obama has signed some new taxes to help finance the Affordable Care Act, increasing the burden on those upper-income taxpayers. Starting Jan. 1 next year, they will pay an additional 0.9 percent of wages for Medicare payroll taxes.  And they will also be subject to a 3.8 percent tax on investment income from such things as stocks, bonds and sale of real estate. Those are taxes that didn’t exist when Clinton was president.

President BO (the child president), also repeated the same claim that  Clinton was called out for on Wednesday — that the current president has a plan that will cut deficits by $4 trillion. During his speech, Obama said, “Independent analysis shows that my plan would cut our deficits by $4 trillion. Last summer, I worked with Republicans in Congress to cut $1 trillion in spending.”

Only problem is, at the end of the 10-year budget window, Obama would have the national debt at a 76.5 percent of gross domestic product. That actually would be an increase over the 74.2 percent of GDP in this year.

Well, if you check their website you will find a claim that "Democrats have a long and proud history of defending Civil Rights and expanding opportunity for all Americans."

Really?

Hmmm.

As a matter of fact, the Democrats:


Supported slavery in 6 platforms from 1840-1860.

Opposed the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to the Constitution that successively wiped out slavery and gave both legal rights and voting rights to black Americans.

Supported segregation actively or by silence in 20 platforms from 1868-1948.

Opposed anti-lynching laws, specifically supported by the GOP in four platforms between 1912 and 1928.

Opposed the GOP-sponsored Civil Rights Acts of 1866, which focused on legal equality for blacks.

Opposed the GOP on giving voting rights to blacks in the District of Columbia in 1867. The legislation was passed over the Democrats' objection.

Nominated an 1868 presidential ticket of New York Governor Horatio Seymour and ex-Missouri Congressman Francis Blair. The Democrats pledged they would declare the Civil Rights laws passed by the GOP "null and void" and would refuse to enforce them. They lost to Ulysses Grant.

Opposed the Enforcement Acts, three laws passed by the GOP between 1870 and 1871 targeting the rise of the Ku Klux Klan and making it a federal crime to block the right of blacks to vote, hold office, serve on juries and have equal protection of the laws with whites.

Opposed the GOP Civil Rights Act of 1875, which prohibited discrimination of blacks in public accommodations.

Used the Ku Klux Klan as what Columbia University historian Eric Foner calls "a military force serving the interests of the Democratic Party." Nor is there reference to University of North Carolina historian Allen Trelease's description of the Klan as the "terrorist arm of the Democratic Party." Nor is there mention of the infamous 1924 Democratic Convention -- the "Klanbake" as it is known to history because hundreds of the delegates were Klan members. The Klan-written platform mixed the traditional Democratic message of progressivism and racism in the Klan-written platform.

Repealed the Civil Rights laws enacted by GOP Congresses and presidents, already damaged by the Supreme Court. When Democrats gained control of both Congress and the White House in 1892, the Democrats' President Grover Cleveland signed the repeal on February 8, 1894.

During the Democratic National Convention, let's all watch to see how many of these truths about Democrats are brought out.

Yet on their website you will find:

"For more than 200 years, our party has led the fight for civil rights….."

On their 2010 website you will find: "Democrats are unwavering in our support of equal opportunity for all Americans. That's why we've worked to pass every one of our nation's Civil Rights laws…."

My hind leg!

They have fought tooth-and-nail being dragged into the fold of the Civil Rights movement. 

And they haven't been brought there yet.

Democrats still support slavery.

Oh, it's a different kind of slavery, but it is slavery none-the-less. 

It is economic slavery of the first order in which minorities (specifically African-Americans [blacks]) are "kept on the plantation" through dependence, disparagement condescension and depression.

It is a foul, stinking kind of slavery that is flavored to make it palatable to blacks, preventing them from realizing their plight through disguise and misdirection.

And through their propaganda, Democrats have kept blacks on the whole from realizing what is being done to them.

May heaps of shame and repentance be cast upon you, Democrats, for allowing this to take place in the United States of America!

You see, Thursday, MSNBC's Chris Matthews asserted that he believes that when Republicans link President Obama to Chicago, they're being racist.




 In this next clip, George Will uses "Chicago" to accuse Donna Brazil of being racist. The reference was to the afore mentioned quote by Chris Matthews.

From a week ago today, Democrats like Debbie Wasserman Schultz openly criticized Republicans for holding a long-planned convention as Hurricane Isaac first looked to hit Tampa, and then Mississippi and Louisiana. A Yahoo news bureau chief got fired after an open mic picked up his accusation that Mitt Romney and the GOP were happy to party while black people drowned.

And yet, Obama himself seemed oddly disconnected from the event, even though it would have provided a perfect tableau for him to demonstrate his leadership. He refused to act on Bobby Jindal’s repeated request for full emergency status. Instead of going to Louisiana and Mississippi to take charge or at least get a ground-level look at the issues (and be seen doing so), or at the very least stay in the White House to oversee federal-state coordination, Obama went to Virginia to campaign — at the same time the chair of his own party was criticizing Republicans who have nothing to do with emergency management in the area for holding a political event.

He really is AMATEUR IN CHIEF!

THOUGHTS ON THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION

I chose to watch the Republican National Convention on PBS. I did that, knowing going in that it would be biased, unfair, pompous and disingenuous, but I did so to get the liberal interpretation of what was going on.

It was not disappointing.

Every commenter twisted every speech to say what it did not say, mean what it did not mean and project what it did not project. It was sickening and very difficult to watch.

See, I watched the speeches and I know what they said.

By the way, I did not need either PBS or FOX to explain the speeches to me. They were very clear, very specific, very inspirational, very hope-filled and projected an America I would like to leave for my children and grandchildren.

(I look forward to the Democrat Convention where the speeches will be about George W. Bush [who, by the way, is no longer president, in case you hadn't heard] and whose plan for the future will be filled with vagaries such as: forward; upward; different; change; etc.)

Ann Romney was inspirational and very articulate, as were they all.

Chris Christie was his usual bombastic self, although I think he stayed on message pretty well and didn't get as wild as he can get. He proclaimed that we are taking our country back from those who would drive it toward...(socialism).

One of Rick Santorum's most important points was that when his grandfather came to the U.S. from Italy (on a ship named "Providence"), there were no benefits for immigrant's except one: FREEDOM.

You know what? That is what America IS all about: FREEDOM.

This present administration has usurped our freedoms in three (almost 4) years more than they have been usurped in the past 200 years combined. They are hell-bent on being in complete control of every aspect of your life, from the bedroom to the living room and the work place as well.

The United States of America was founded on the basic principles of FREEDOM and OPPORTUNITY for all people. It was NOT founded on the principle of EQUAL OUTCOME for all people. And if it were about equal outcome, I would hate it as much as I hated the former U.S.S.R., Iran, North Korea and other despotic nations. That is because equal outcome can only be accomplished by force of government. That is an anathema to the principles of our framers.

Good on Rick Santorum!

Condoleezza Rice was electrifying! Her speech was eloquent, powerful, substantive and engaging.

And that from an African-American woman.

GOV. SUSANA MARTINEZ was dynamite!

So much for the left's characterization of Republicans as anti-woman racists! That label actually belongs to the Democrats, who still practice economic slavery.

The speech given by Paul Ryan was spot on!

Ryan nailed the results of the Obama presidency to a "T." It has been a total failure, largely because President BO (the child president) is anything but a leader. He couldn't lead his way out of the proverbial wet paper sack.

Someone once said, "If you think you are a leader, look behind you. If no one is there, you're not leading, you're just out for a stroll."

The only people following PBO(tcp) are his minions, and many of them are getting tired of him.

You will notice, if you have half-a-brain, that Obama avoids his record like the plague that it is.

He has nothing to boast about except killing OBL, which he didn't plan or do, and a thieving health care act that will bankrupt Medicare and the country.  Some boast!

Then there was Clint Eastwood....hmmm. Some say he hit it out of the park. Others (like me) say, "Say, what?"

Mark Rubio was great and his personal story was vibrant and compelling.

Mitt Romney showed leadership in a fantastic way!

He was not the orator of the caliber of a John Kennedy or a Ronald Reagan, but his message, plan and story hit the bulls eye.

Time (in this case a very short time) will tell how the American people will react. We don't need any time to know how the MSM will react.

It will be a fight to the finish, but we can win.

We MUST win or kiss our nation and our FREEDOMS goodbye.
