A HOLE IN THE SOUL

There is a hole in the soul of our country.

A demented man goes to the opening of "The Dark Knight Rises" and starts shooting, killing 12 people and wounding many others.

There is a hole in the soul of our country.

The liberal media immediately starts in on how he must have been a conservative Tea Party maniac.

There is a hole in the soul of our country.

The Tea Party and conservatism had nothing to do with this atrocity.
 
For the sake of argument, let's say he proclaimed himself to be a conservative and did the dastardly deed.
 
Just saying you're a conservative does not make you a conservative.
 
No more than saying you're a fighter jet makes you a plane.
 
And if there are conservatives who think he did this despicable act because he is some leftist liberal, they are no better than the liberal media making him out to be representative of conservatives.
 
This is not about liberalism and conservatism. It is about depravity.
 
I have never met a liberal who thinks it is appropriate to shoot a child and a baby in the back. Never.
 
Neither have I ever met a conservative who thinks so.
 
But this I can say with confidence: There is a hole in the soul of our country.
The trouble is, most of our country does not recognize the source of that hole.
 
Psychiatrists will be called in to analyze this guy's psyche. They'll probe his childhood, his attitudes, his loner-ship, his bad influences and all of the other psychobabble they espouse.
 
Gun control advocates will rush in to take away more liberties from Americans and in the process will render them even less able to defend themselves.
 
I wonder how many people might have been saved if one or more of that crowd had been licensed carriers of a fire arm.
 
Some actually think it is better that he did what he did, rather than have people who knew how to defend against such acts take action.
 
A few nights ago, a couple of men who were illegally in possession of guns tried to rob a place. A 71 year old licensed carrier pulled his gun, shot one of the robbers and chased them right out of the place.
 
How much better would it have been to have just let them have the money and maybe shoot whoever they decided to shoot?

We have witnessed Columbine, Fort Hood, and many, many other inexcusable actions by crazed gunmen and stood idly by with our socio-psychological pablum and just watched it happen, without even beginning to realize what the real source of these issues is.
 
There is a hole in the soul of our country.


We have watched in horror as radical Islamists carried out a diabolical plot and brought down the Twin Towers in New York and blew away part of the Pentagon.
 
And we dare not place the blame squarely on the shoulders of those horrible radicals who celebrated the deed.
 
There is a hole in the soul of our country.


We will continue to teach our children that absolute tolerance of every aberrant life-style is the only "moral" way to go. And they will grow up believing it, never realizing the unintended consequences of that attitude.
 
There is a hole in the soul of our country.


And far too many Americans cannot fathom the source of that hole. They will bristle if you even try to point it out.
 
We have politicians who stoop so low as to attack the wife of one running for president because she rides horses as a part of her therapy for MS. And "lock-steppers" join right in with them, with such vile attitudes that I hesitate to consider them Americans in any sense of the word.

We have people who believe, and indeed many who practice, injecting saline into the womb of an expectant mother because "she has the right to do what she wants with her own body," even though DNA proves beyond any shadow of a scientific doubt that a pre-born baby is not a part of the woman carrying him/her.
 
There is a hole in the soul of our country.


Where once people felt free to express themselves spiritually in every venue, including public and government places, now they are relegated to certain areas and excluded from others in the name of a mythical "separation of church and state."
 
There is a hole in the soul of our country.


There is a solution to the hole in the soul of the country.
 
It is neither difficult nor secret.
 
It IS hated, however, for it reveals the overwhelming attitude of the populace that each person should be able to say, "I want what I want, when I want it, where I want it, how I want it and I want it right now. And if you have it, so should I and I shouldn't have to work for it like you did. I should just be able to take it, by force or by government edict."
 
How low must we get before we realize that There is a hole in the soul of our country, and we need the Filler more than we need anything else in the Universe?

Joe, Joe, I agree with all these points, but!
A Mexican drug smuggler shoots one of our Border Patrol agents in the head using a gun put in his hands by the Fast & Furious program and Liberals can't see anything wrong there, they just want to ignore it. Yep, that about sums it up.
Very little will be off-limits, from now on.
Obama is a lair and a very dangerous person; so Romney better get tough and go on the attack, or he is lose!

Even if one of the movie patrons had a CCW permit, he wouldn't be able to bring his gun with him - it is a "gun free zone." Only the bad guys can come in with guns.

And now the entire nation will be forced to give a damn about his rights, his civil and legal rights, his access to millions in legal representation rights, His rights to have a safe, comfy prison, or better, a nice institution that will work diligently to get him early releases home to visit the folks. Crazy? No, it's the Bleeding heart Liberal way.

I would be more than happy to save the grief of a trial, and I personally gaurantee that justice will be swift and just.. Just let me get him into the Gas Camber.

Fellow Comrades this morning while attempting to eat my breakfast of eggs that were past the expiration date, and stale rice krispies with sour milk, burnt toast and cold coffee, I switched the on the radio and a song I had not heard in ages played over the leftist leaning airwaves, since it is no longer possible to expect privacy when using the Internet or our phones.. It was a horrible, decadent capitalistic advert for something or another that is not for sale in the glorious People's Paradise of Zimbabwe, but only south of the border in Azania. I forget what it was.

But that song... It took me about an hour to remember what the song was. and then it came to me, it was a Christmas carol. And that realization made me vomit a bit in my mouth. So I am now sitting here, on my People's shared Commode, remembering why Christmas is such an evil idea, and why all good Progressives are really Atheists.
But then, each to his own. Give me a nice bloody execution at dawn and I am as happy as a pig in Palestine.

The New York Times has to come to the conclusion that after months of negative attacks against Romney , trying to portray him as out of touch, yada, yada..
" the poll shows little evidence of any substantial nationwide shift in attitudes about Mr. Romney."
However-it seems that it is Obama who has suffered.
He is now very underwater in approval on his handling of the economy.
In April he was at 44 % approve/ 48 disapprove.
Today he is at 39 % approval/ 55 % disapprove.
This is what burning through 100 million got Obama.
Bwaaaa, ain't that a crying shame..... NO!

And by the way, where' are all those unicorns, moonbeams and pennies from heaven that we were promised?

Umm, that's not actually a Liberal thing, it's a United States Constitution thing.

I love it that you rabid right wingers treat the Constitution like it was hand written by God Himself on a Golden Tablet and you have no idea what it actually says.

This clearly insane and obviously guilty sicko is still provided the same Constitutional protections as you or any other American Citizen accused of a crime:

Amendment 4 - Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment 5 - Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings. Ratified 12/15/1791.

It isn't the "bleeding heart liberals and the ACLU", that grant this twisted monster all of the rights that you and I enjoy.

It is the carefully crafted, hand written words of our Founding Fathers as expressed in the United States Constitution.

If you have a problem with that, take it up with them.

I agree completely with you. If a person with a licensed concealed weapon had been present, I believe the gunman would be dead and those that were killed would still be alive.

But Bon Jovi who sings for the president's campaign and gets a ride in Air Force One pays 100.00 in property taxes because he has "bees" on it so it's considered a bee "Farm"

The only one who is out of touch here are Obama ad his followers.
