MY LAST WORD(S) ON OWS

Time Magazine reported that 50% of Americans support OWS.

A new AP poll finds that just 37 percent back the movement.

So either Time was wrong (or lying) or support is dwindling.

I suspect the latter.

At the very least, the 99% claim of OWS is insanely wrong and stupid, to boot.

If you are interested in the central message of OWS, check this out.

Here's the exciting video:

The incoherent droning of the speaker fully represents the intelligence level of 99% of OWSers.

You OWSers have a disjointed message, at best, and are among the most inarticulate of all Americans, lending support to the idea that most were educated in government schools and leftist universities (those few who attended college or universities).

Most of them are just day-bums who have nothing to add to society but only take from it.

I find them, their ideas and their actions contemptible and backward.

For people like Jesse Jackson to equate them to the marches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is an abomination to his memory, and frankly, demonstrates the depth to which Jackson had sunk in his representation of the needs of black America.

Occupy Wall Street is the punch line of a hundred jokes....only not a funny punch line.

Joe - OWS is not a joke to me.

They are a bunch of childish maggots, and a disgrace to the intelligence of America.

Those Guy Fawkes masks are so last season.

Disgrace to the intelligence of the nation? Is that a Herman Cain or a Michele Bachmann quote?

sue hanes said...

Mizz - Really.

And you are the judge of what intelligence is and who has it?

Joe said...

sue hanes: Sorry you didn't get the joke.

MA: Childish they certainly are.

Ducky: Neither.

sue hanes: If she isn't I'll take the role.

Jo Joe - If anything is destroying America, it is greedy, bigotted, right wing, "Christian", white folk who think that the priveledged 1% really want people like YOU to be like them.

They WILL NOT be giving you a help up.

They DO NOT want you showing up at their Country Club Debutante's Ball.

If you were on fire, they wouldn't bother to call 911 or walk across the street to pour their Starbucks grande mocha latte on you to save your life.

So why do you defend people who view you as lower than than the crap they scrape off their shoes?

You really want to hitch your future to their coat tails? You gonna be a Big House slave?

You are not a stupid man. Why do you act like one?

Joe - and when you do step in to judge us all - I'll be the first to say:

here come da judge

Joe said...

XO: "You are not a stupid man. Why do you act like one?"

Maybe it's no act.

Fact is, I don't ask them to do one single thing for me.

What I do is defend their right to be rich, as long as they have become so legally, through hard work, risk taking and innovation.

I don't defend rich people who got that way illegally. I think they should be in jail or worse.

I don't want them to be rich so they can help me. I want them to be rich because of their efforts, and I have only disdain for any person or any government that would deny them their right or penalize them for exercising it.

Xavier Onassis said...

Joe - So you defend the majority of the rich who sit on their big pile of money like Scrooge McDuck, shifting pennys from one account to another to maximize their profits without creating a single job or a product to consume? Just rich people manipulating money to make themselves richer without adding anything to our economy? You're okay with that?

Joe said...

XO: Doesn't happen like that, and you know it.

But you believe that if you say it, it is true, just because you say it.

That's liberals' truth.

Ducky's here said...

Doesn't happen like that? How would you know, Joe?

Timmy Githner invite you to a Goldman Sachs board meeting?

Joe - You are so delusional. You have no idea how American Free Market Capitalism actually works.

I really do feel sorry for you.

It's like you are locked in some sort of 1950's, pre McCarthy America where the illusion of Strong Christianity can Pray Away the percieved evils of Nuclear Weapons, Gay People and Minorities.

You're a fossil.

Joe said...

XO: Not nearly as delusional as you.

Boy! What an argument I've made!

Bet you're really swayed by THAT!

Contemptible and backward. Quite sporting, Joe.

I do struggle to understand the fringe right's perspective. Here we have a wide range of people, despite your carefully selected clips, who are demonstrating because the American financial system has become divorced from constructive activity in America and has rather decided they are going to steal anything that isn't nailed down. Protesting that is somehow contemptible.

What is your position, Joe. Since it's rough to get an answer to that question from Calvinists I can only piece together my own answer and assume you actually believe that the workings of a laissez-faire market are God inspired and tampering is sinful.
Myself, I don't get that from the gospels.

So you build a philosophy based on social Darwinism, hating gays, advocating trashing the planet and you give other people the tone?
Doesn't make sense Joe so I have to believe there is more to it.

Joe said...

Ducky: "...the workings of a laissez-faire market are God inspired and tampering is sinful."

Where on earth did you get that from what I have said?

Ducky's here said...

It's the only way I can make sense of your irrational devotion to laissez-faire.
