IN MEMORIUM

Stop.

Think for a moment what it must be like for those doing battle in our armed services overseas at this moment.

Do you wonder, as I wonder, whether they wonder whether future Memorial Days will be to remember them?

Whether or not you agree with a person's decision to serve in the U.S. Army, the Navy, the Marines, the Air Force, the National Guard, the Merchant marines, or any of their respective Reserves, you must know that they serve in harm's way for us.

Those who have gone before them did the same.

Many of them, hundreds of thousands of them, gave their lives so you could have whatever lifestyle and/or opinions you have.

They firmly believed that freedom is worth dying for.

They were right.

Remember them this weekend, especially on Monday.

I hope this helps:

I Thank you, every one of you, from New York to California, to Iraq to Afghanistan who fought or died to make our freedom possible.

Thank you.

Joe, I'm afraid this is going to be a difficult weekend for bloggers particularly....I'm seeing one video after the other that's making me CRY, each one tops the next.
Thanks for this one..."I will remember you......." So important.

God bless you and have a good weekend.
Thanks for your post.

I would no more want Obama honoring me than I would Osama.

Joe - Thanks for the tribute to our troops as we remember them on Memorial Day: our Fallen Troops, and those who still serve.

And we will remember their families and the sacrifice that they make.

the malcontent: Indeed.

Z: Important, indeed.

Dan: I certainly understand that.

sue: I have personally known so many who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom's sake.

tapline: The average American remembers much better than our current leader.

the malcontent: We've been screaming about that for a long time. Good to see CNN finally recognize it.

The DESPICABLE One Pres Zero who chose to skip going to Arlington should be ashamed of himself, but who are we kidding, this is the way that douche-baf thinks. ! I have a Uncle buried there. He'll rest easier knowing that "commander zero" won't show up to disgrace hallowed ground.

The madman dunce Obama will Skip Memorial Day at Arlington Cemetery while our troops are in two Wars and after so many have been killed. One would think that the puke bag Marxist would be going to the Gulf if not to Arlington, but instead the arrogant Obama is going on vacation. What an asshole we have as a President.

Of course the libbies and members of this administration are going to say nothing they did was wrong. And of course their excuse is going to be.... Other people did it!

CitizenPlanet: I am perplexed at President BO's lack of understanding of the significance of Memorial Day.
