Like It When You're Winning?
During the run-up to the election, every news outlet was convinced, and stated publicly, that Hillary Clinton was leading in the electoral college count.
During the run-up to the election, when the news outlets, the Democrats and the Republicans were convinced Hillary would win the election, the news outlets, the Democrats and Hillary were very happy about what they perceived would be the outcome of the election by electoral college vote.
Republicans were scratching their heads and figuring vote counts this way and that, trying to find some imagined path to Trump beating Hillary, a path they didn't sound like even they believed.
Radio talk show hosts, such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Marc Levin and others sounded very doubtful, hoping against hope that Donald Trump could make a reasonable showing and maybe, just maybe, by some twist of fate, squeeze out enough votes to slip past Hillary.
Alas, it was not to be. Instead, Donald Trump trounced Hillary Clinton in the electoral college. He whooshed past her, leaving her in the dust, coughing and stumbling along in defeat.
And now, the same Democrats who were very happy with the electoral process when Hillary was seemingly ahead, are crying, "Foul! It's the fault of this stupid system we have. We need to get rid of the electoral college!"
Not one single time, when they won the electoral college vote, did the Democrats ever complain about the results. They never even hinted that they might want the electoral college done away with.
Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot...............

The Founding Fathers certainly had a few tricks up their sleeves coming up with this electoral college thing. I think they figured it would be a buffer between the voting rabble and their penchance for choosing madmen to lead them.
Fredd: By George, I think you've got it!
Just more proof of the hypocrisy of the LEFT. IF they had won they would have praised the electoral college.
Unfortunately, the so called rabble is today's right wing minority.
Given the advantage small states have in the structure of the Senate, it's difficult to
discern that the Electoral College is necessary.
All this talk of tyranny begs the question of a tyranny of the minority.
GEC: In fact, they were praising it during the election, positive that Hillary had almost all of the electoral college votes in the bag.
Ducky:"...it's difficult to discern that the Electoral College is necessary."
Only if you do not understand its purpose and history.
