I Should Have Run Again
"I am confident that if I (Uh) if I had run again..."
Now, as we all know, President BO (the amateur president) is the most articulate man ever to have run for and been elected to the presidency. He is a word master. He knows the language better than almost any of us.
Plus, he's a Constitutional Scholar! A scholar, no less!
So, I listened to the video again, to make certain I had heard what I thought I had heard.
Yep! There it was.
Not, "...if I could have run again...," but "...if I had run again...!"
OK, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and just say that he is not as wise and/or articulate as "everybody" thinks. Maybe he just didn't realize that he could not have run again.
But then evil hubris is...

News Flash! Donald Trump Is Going to Be Our Next President!
Main Stream Media STILL can't get a handle on this truth. They keep looking for some way to declare Trump's presidency illegitimate.
Shades of George W. Bush!
Shades of Ronald Reagan!
This is the same thing Democrats do EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY LOOSE AN ELECTION!
They are whining, stomping their feet, pouting and crying. Joined by their bffs the SJWs, they continue to ask, "What just happened?"
If there had been any real journalists in the Main Stream Media, they would have reported what they knew to be the truth: Donald Trump was leading from the get-go. But their ideology would not allow them to come to grips with actual truth, so they made up their own "truth."
Now, of course, MSM will take a close look at themselves, see the error of their ways and learn to redefine journalism for themselves as a quest for actual truth, instead of the non-truth they wanted to be true.
No, actually, they won't. They can't. They couldn't be less interested in reporting actual news, they'd much rather think they somehow control the news.
Don't misunderstand. There is a valid place for editorializing and opining. That's as it should be. Editors, columnists, pundits and others should offer their assessments of various situations. But they cannot call themselves journalists if they can't report what is really happening.
For President-Elect Donald Trump, the actual numbers were always there to be reported. But they were not reported. What was reported was that Hillary Clinton was the heir apparent to the throne being vacated by President BO (the amateur president).
Even PBO (tap) said she was the most qualified person to ever have run for the office of President of the United States of America.
Now the logical mind might ask, "If that's the case, why did you ever run against her?"
But that's not important, because even though PBO (tap) said that, he really didn't say that.
The liberal mind set is that if they say it, it is true, because they said it, whether it was really true or not. And if what they said was true turns out not to be true, they never said it, because they say they never said it, whether they actually ever said it or not.
Either way, in January, President-Elect Donald Trump will become President Donald Trump.

A Christmas Eve Message
Most people try to read the Bible in little chunks here and there. They read the stories of Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Samson, David and Goliath and others, and try to glean from them some kind of moral truth or "God makes a hero" kind of thing.
Then they read troubling passages about places like Sodom and Gomorrah, Israel vanquishing some nation or other. Then they read about the Ten Commandments and think of them as rules to follow.
In reading the Bible like that, they come up with questions about particular events without understand their context or true meaning.
Here's the thing: The Bible is the story of God's greatest creation (mankind) which decided to do things their way instead of His. A pattern ensues whereby God's chosen people, Israel, enter into covenant with Him and break the covenant every time. Try as they might, they cannot follow God's way.
The Old Testament is about revealing the seriousness of sin. Sin has consequences. Men do good things and follow them up with bad things. Men obey God for a season and then turn to idol worship and other atrocities against God.
The Old Testament also reveals that God has a plan to remedy man's fallen condition. It shows word pictures of what that plan is and how it will come to fruition. It points relentlessly to a coming Messiah.
Messiah is presented in the Old Testament as a different kind of king, one who would be of the house and lineage of David, who would be born in a town called Bethlehem, of a virgin young lady, who would do miraculous things, who would be scorned, attacked by His own people, be put to death on a cross as the perfect sacrificial Lamb of God, die, rise from the dead, come again and reign over the earth in a time of total peace.
Take a look at this short video for an overview of the Bible's purpose.
The whole Old Testament leads us step-by-step to the event we celebrate tomorrow: Christmas.
"Christ" is the Anglicized version of the Greek word "Christos," which is the Greek word for "Messiah." So the "Christ" of "Christmas" is a reference to the Old Testament word for "Messiah."
The "mas" of Christmas comes from the old English "maesse," meaning celebration, most often of a birth.
So "Christmas" means "The celebration of the birth of Messiah.
From the gospel of John:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.” “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.”
Have a very merry celebration of Messiah's birth!

Hope and Feely, Feely
We can "feel" the hope that President BO (the amateur president) brought with him.
Everything about liberal Democrats is about feeling. Fact and truth is irrelevant to them.
Now, according to Michelle O, interviewed by the Big O, hope has exhaled right out of the country. We have no hope. Hope is gone. Finis.
Michelle, the only thing gone is you and we're all proud of that. It gives us hope.

Executive Orders; Good for Me, Not for You
It was "after" Republicans wouldn't enact his legislation that he just circumvented them and put them in place anyway via executive orders. In other words, if you (Congress) won't do my will, I will force it on you.
President BO (the amateur president) was the king of executive orders, specifically enacting rules that went against the wishes of the people and without the consent of Congress).
And he advises Trump to go easy on executive orders!
It just gets funnier and funnier to watch liberal Democrats squirm and wriggle to try to keep their power after losing an election.

If you want to watch the whole video, go ahead. It's all pretty funny.
The part I'm referencing starts at about 2:30. You'll get the point pretty quickly.
See, when Hillary Clinton was thought to be ahead, Main Stream Media drooled all over themselves over the efficacy of the Electoral College system.
Now, MSM is belching out their opinion that we need to do away with the Electoral College system.
So why was the Electoral College so good when Hillary was ahead and so bad when Trump won?
(He DID win the Electoral College vote, by the way...that happened today).
I would venture to say that if Hillary had won we would hear not one single peep out of Liberal Democrats about doing away with the EC.

Hack, Hack, Hack!
Hillary Clinton's computer(s) was not hacked. Not before the election, not during the election, not after the election, not ever.
Hacking is gaining access to someone's digital information to alter it, to steal it for financial gain or infect it with viruses and/or other forms of malware.
Hillary Clinton's email account (you may substitute Podesta here, if you like) was invaded by somebody at some time. The FBI and the CIA disagree on when, where and how. But it was never hacked.
What happened to Hillary Clinton's emails was that they were found, copied and released. That is not hacking.
That Hillary Clinton did not want the email released is evidenced by her continual attempts to hide and destroy them. The reason she did not want them released is because they gave witness to her having been involved in corrupt and illegal activities related to her scam foundation and her politically preferential treatment of donors.
The obvious remedy for her problem was to never have engaged in those illegal and corrupt activities and politically preferential treatments to begin with. But she, being who she is, could not help herself. She has lived that way in her past and shows no evidence of changing.
Normally, when something illegal, immoral or unethical occurs, people call for it to be exposed, indicted and prosecuted. We use all sorts of ways to do that. We monitor phone calls, we search for a paper trail, we utilize sophisticated technology and we hire people to find out what went down.
Some have said that the Russians got hold of Clinton's emails and released them. As I said, the CIA and FBI tell two different stories from the same data. So, maybe the Russians did find and release her emails. So what?
If Hillary's bad behavior being made public kept her from gaining access to power that would allow her to exponentially increase that behavior, isn't that a good thing? Wouldn't we think it was better to find out before she gained the presidency than afterword?
So, after having declared that Donald Trump was a fiend for having suggested that he might not accept the results of the election, Hillary and her supporters now refuse to accept the results of the election.
Can you say "inconsistent?" How about "Hypocritical?" Or maybe "criminally sore losers" would be better.
At any rate, while Hillary Clinton's emails were never hacked (except by the new definition forced on us by the Democrats, who make a habit of redefining terms to suit their positions). They were discovered and exposed.
And that is a good thing.

Some of President-Elect Trump's Picks
Attorney General - Jeff Sessions
President Elect Donald Trump has selected Senator Jeff Sessions to be the Attorney General of the United States. He is faux-controversial because he was alleged to have made racially charged remarks while U.S. Attorney in Alabama.
What Democrats will not talk about, absolutely refuse to talk about, bury their collective heads in the sand about is the fact that Jeff Sessions went after Governor George Wallace over segregation in Alabama. Could that be because inwardly Democrats really preferred Wallace's stand on segregation? After all, they are the party of the Ku Klux Klan.
Speaking of the Ku Klux Klan, Senator Sessions also prosecuted them, something that must really stick in the craw of Democrats.
One of the reasons Donald Trump got elected was because people in the states he carried are sick and tired of soft immigration policies, including voters in my own state of Florida. Sessions is expected to move the Justice Department toward tougher immigration laws where needed and toward enforcing the laws already on the books.
Sounds good to me.
Chief Strategist & Senior Counselor - Steve Bannon
Steve Bannon is the former CEO of Breitbart News, an uber-conservative news outlet. This selection has Democrats and the lefties howling in pain. He also worked for Goldman Sachs. That only adds fuel to the fire.
Once again, Donald Trump has connected with the voters who gave him this election. Voters like me, a long time reader of Breitbart News.
Democrats and some Jewish groups have called on Trump to reconsider this appointment.
I hope he does not.
Seema Verma - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
This is the agency that oversees Medicare and Medicaid. Verma is a master tactician. She is an excellent choice to help re-formulate health care in the United States.
Her claim to fame is her overseeing of a far-reaching plan that says beneficiaries of Medicaid who are physically able to do so should have to pay and/or work for their Medicaid benefits.
This is based on the idea that people who cannot work should be afforded benefits, but people who can but prefer not to work should have some responsibility for their benefits.
Another "get in touch with the citizenry" move by President-Elect Donald Trump.
Tom Price - Head of HHS
Price is a fierce critic of the Affordable Care Act, and is a strong proponent of re-building health care in the United States.
See, the citizens don't like Obamacare. The feel lied to. Wanna know why? Well, it's because were were promised that our insurance premiums would go down on average $2,500.00 per year. Instead they have gone up by that much, in many cases more. That we considered a lie.
We were told we that if we liked our current plan we could keep our current plan. That turned out to be a lie. We couldn't.
We were also told that if we liked our doctor we could keep our doctor. Another lie. The plan chooses what doctors you can see, mostly scruffy old coots who work in the back office of the local hardware store.
"But so many people without coverage now have coverage!" Yes and just as many who had coverage now don't or can't afford the $300 per month premium with $12,000.00 per year deductible. Plus we get to pay for those who won't work and still get this Obamanation.
Price is exceptionally qualified to head HHS. He chairs the House Budget Committee and was very enthusiastic about Trump's presidency.
Looks to me like Trump is doing everything the lefties don't want him to, and that's his biggest asset.

Like It When You're Winning?
During the run-up to the election, every news outlet was convinced, and stated publicly, that Hillary Clinton was leading in the electoral college count.
During the run-up to the election, when the news outlets, the Democrats and the Republicans were convinced Hillary would win the election, the news outlets, the Democrats and Hillary were very happy about what they perceived would be the outcome of the election by electoral college vote.
Republicans were scratching their heads and figuring vote counts this way and that, trying to find some imagined path to Trump beating Hillary, a path they didn't sound like even they believed.
Radio talk show hosts, such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Marc Levin and others sounded very doubtful, hoping against hope that Donald Trump could make a reasonable showing and maybe, just maybe, by some twist of fate, squeeze out enough votes to slip past Hillary.
Alas, it was not to be. Instead, Donald Trump trounced Hillary Clinton in the electoral college. He whooshed past her, leaving her in the dust, coughing and stumbling along in defeat.
And now, the same Democrats who were very happy with the electoral process when Hillary was seemingly ahead, are crying, "Foul! It's the fault of this stupid system we have. We need to get rid of the electoral college!"
Not one single time, when they won the electoral college vote, did the Democrats ever complain about the results. They never even hinted that they might want the electoral college done away with.
Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot...............

He's Building His Cabinet - a hodgepodge of thoughts
So, President-elect Donald Trump is building his cabinet. "Controversial" says the Main-Stream Media.
Uh, controversial to whom?
I seem to remember controversy about President BO (the amateur president)'s cabinet. But the controversy was largely ignored by MSM.
Why can they not bring themselves to report news in a balanced fashion? What sinister force causes them to be so heavily biased to the left? Why can't they even admit it about themselves?
Reporting the news is supposed to be about what's going on; all of what is going on. Now days, news and editorial have become so emulsified that it is hard to tell the difference.
There is no reason I can think of why any opinion columnist should not be able to express him/herself in any way he/she chooses, but news journalism should be something else altogether. It should tell a story using the facts of what actually took place. News journalists should avoid telling one story more than another because of the political implications of one or the other.
As Trump builds his cabinet, journalists should report who he is selecting, researching and presenting their background and whatever qualifications they have. They should leave their opinions on their editorial door-step, saving them for the opinion page.
Guess what. One side lost the election. One side won. Donald Trump will be our next president, protests and riots notwithstanding. Live with it.
Goodness knows we on the right side of the political spectrum had to live through the atrocities of the one you guys elected.
Get over it! Opine all you want to, but as one very liberal blogger once commented on this blog, "...he is our president and we should all get behind him." Of course she was speaking of President BO (the amateur president). Now the shoe is on her other foot and her demeanor has changed.
Trumps "in-your-face" selections for his cabinet represent very well the, "we've had enough of the establishment government" group. We're ready for real change and real hope for liberty and freedom.

Shame on him for saying he "might" not accept the election results...Uh...what"
Isn’t it ironic that the same people who condemned Donald Trump for saying he
might not accept the election results are now not accepting the election results?

Saturday, November 12, 2016
So, Donald Trump is our president-elect. I voted for him, not at all certain that he was a good choice. But for me, he was the only choice, as Hillary Clinton was not an option.
I saw this election as a choice between a sometimes crude, sometimes politically incorrect, sometimes mouthy blustering CEO and an unindicted felon. I chose the former.
But there were policy reasons I voted for Trump, too. His stance on ObamaCare was my top priority. Illegal immigration was next, followed by taxes, the economy and world trade.
Trump got my vote because he said he would tackle each of those issues quickly and decisively. He said he would work with Congress to get those issues handled effectively and efficiently. I believed him. Blinders on or not, I believed him.
I was as tired of the stupid establishment elitists as anybody, and believed Donald Trump might just be able to overthrow many of them and would at least minimize their impact on the country.
When President BO was elected, I opposed him. I attacked his policies as hard as I could because I thought them to be very bad for our country. I have been proven right on every issue, as far as President BO is concerned.
I intend to hold President Donald Trump's feet to the fire. If he does not make a significant effort to intact the planks of his platform, I will just as quickly castigate him as I did President BO.
I am an equal opportunity castigator.
Already I have heard president-elect Donald Trump seem to waver on one of his platform planks. When he left his meeting with President BO, he seemed to say that he might not totally replace ObamaCare, but might keep some of it.
Not on my watch, President-Elect Trump! If you waffle on ObamaCare, you will be no better than those establishment elitists. They were voted in to do a particular job and they, almost to a man, did not do it. Don't do it, President-Elect Trump! You gained my vote because of your promise to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with health insurance that would be competitive and would be sold across state lines.
That's what I expect you to do. If you do not, you will incur my ire, something that I am certain has you trembling in your boots.
Come on, man! Be who you said you were and do what you said you would do.
America is counting on you!

A Veteran's Day Tribute
My father-in-law died recently. He served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific in underwater demolition. He was very proud to have served and loved this country to the "Nth" degree.
He always wore his Navy cap. Many times, especially in restaurants, people came up to him and thanked him for his service. More than a few times, people paid his check for him, many anonymously.
He was active in his community, was a very giving person and was loved by many. To him, though, his greatest accomplishment was serving this country in a time of need.
My hat is off to you, Thomas Charles MacKimmie, for your contribution to the United States of America.

When the Shoe is on the Other Foot...BAM!
Post Election Destruction |
The people who were happy about his election, some of whom are in the picture on the left, told us to get over it. They said he had been elected, fair and square. They told us we should respect President Obama because we should "respect the office." And because "He is my president."
Some of those same people told us that if we didn't support President BO that we were racists. They said they were unhappy with us because we were unhappy to have a black president. That was patently untrue, but that's what they said.
They told us we should peacefully acquiesce to his election because it was a done deal and he was going to give us "Hope and Change." That he gave us no hope and only negative change was irrelevant to them because it was the idea that counted...the good intentions that mattered.
Now the people have elected another person to serve as president. He won the election fair and square. Now the same people who said we should respect Donald Trump because we should "respect the office" not only are not respecting the office, they are destroying property, disparaging the president-elect and issuing threats against anyone who voted for him.
The very same people who dumped on those who dumped on Obama are now dumping on Donald Trump. They are of the "Do what we say do, not what we do do" crowd. And they are packed full of do do.
Many celebrities warned us that they would leave the country if Donald Trump was elected president. People like Whoopie Goldberg, Al Sharpton, Samuel Jackson, Lena Dunham, Barbara Streisand, Jon Stewart, George Stephanopoulous, George Lopez, Miley Cyrus Cher and even Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg ("Now it's time for us to move to New Zealand").
So why are they still here? It is their collective, right-wing hubris to think we care that they leave the country. I say, "Good riddance. Don't let the door hit you in the bohunkus as you leave."
Whether you like Donald Trump or not; whether you voted for him or not; whether you like his plans for America or not, if you are among those who are rioting, looting and destroying property, you are uncivilized hooligans, unworthy of being called an American. Civilized people don't burn, loot and destroy property.
You are, sadly, being led and stirred up by a bogus, fake bunch of ingrates who call themselves "Black Lives Matter." They are liars, cheats and hypocrites. They don't care about lives, black, white or indifferent. They are a bunch of people in need of anger management classes, who care only for themselves and no one else.
You are not required to like Donald Trump. You are not required to support Donald Trump. You are not even required to say nice things about Donald Trump. But if you resort to violence, destruction and other mayhem, you should be arrested, prosecuted and thrown in jail.
But you are probably too stupid to know that.
