A Nation of Law

The problem is that under this President Congress has stopped doing their job and have refused to pass ANY laws.

They have no desire to govern. Their only goal is to try and keep the President from governing so that they can blame him for not governing.

A majority of the American people, more people than voted for all of the Republicans in the House and Senate combines, voted for this President not just once, but twice. Because they wanted him to lead this country in the direction he promised to lead us.

For 6 years the Republicans in the House have pandered to their Tea Party Masters and done absolutely nothing but try to thwart the will of the American people by blocking everything we elected the President to do.

Perhaps you've heard the phrase "lead, follow, or get out of the way". The Republicans have refused to lead, follow or even compromise somewhere between the two. So it is way past time for them to get out of the way. And if they refuse to do that as well then the President should absolutely go around them and do what we elected him to do, which is lead this country as far away as possible from the destructive policies of the right wing lunatics who would rather see this country fail than see our President succeed.

Joe - Rep. Gowdy certainly has a lot on his mind and is speaking out about it.

If certain laws are passed then they should be enforced. He is right about that.

The problem is that this congress refuses to hold the President accountable for his un-Constitutional and unethical executive orders.

The problem is that people like X.O. want congress to make laws they have no business making!

GEC: XO and his ilk believe in the government making laws about and controlling every aspect of life...until it interferes with something they like, such as bedroom activities, marriage, abortion and the like.
