HOW OUR GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR YOU

And we really should trust them...really.

In fact, liberals think this is the way new web sites are SUPPOSED to work.

After all, they're the government. They KNOW what they're doing.

They're good at everything they do, like the Post Office, Amtrack, budgets, deficits, national debt, GNP, web sites.

It's all good.

"The launch, the website and the enrollment process all have been a complete disaster for ObamaCare," said Brett Healy, President of the John K. MacIver Institute for Public Policy. "Why doesn't the federal government wait until they successfully sign some people up for the program before they complicate things even further?"

Because they're the governmnet...that's why!

Wouldn't they have been better off hiring 1 and 1 to design the site?

How many things do they have to get wrong before liberals admit the government does NOT know how to run things?

Joe - I have worked in Information Technology as a Systems Analyst for almost 30 years.

Political persuasions aside, I know what I'm talking about.

1: The system was overwhelmed by 10 times the anticipated number simultaneous users. The uninsured turned out in record numbers seeking affordable insurance and completely overwhelmed the system.

2: The Tea Party idiots shut down the government so the IT professionals who could have load-balanced the demand on the system were unavailable.

3: Obamacare is so overwhelmingly popular that the demand for enrollment has crippled a system designed to handle a fraction of the participants.

4: This is the Republicans WORST NIGHTMARE! The Affordable Care Act is a hugely popular program and such a success that it has completely overwhelmed the anticipated traffic on the enrollment page.

5: When will you conservatives finally give up and stop defending bigots and idiots who keep letting Stupid spill out of their Word Holes?

XO: "...10 times the anticipated number simultaneous users."

If it's so popular, why didn't they anticipate the influx?

"...the IT professionals who could have load-balanced the demand on the system were unavailable."

Sorry. That's just not true.

Uhh...Number 1, 3 and 4 say the same thing.

5. What an astute argument. You demonstrate the level of your ability to present your case.

Joe - Government people are just people too. They make mistakes too.
Just like everyone else.

Give me a break here.

sh: No. No break. These guys are charged with enormous responsibility and lives are at stake. So is the American way of life. I cut them not one inch of slack, whether they are Republican, Democrat, President or Supreme Court. They have to start putting liberty and freedom ahead of every other whim or we are lost. Period.

You asked the other day whether I was ill or just fed up. I am ill and I am fed up. I hate the premise of liberalism that the government should be involved in every area of our existence except the bed room. They have done more than enough damage and it needs to stop.

Obama's plan to "fundamentally change" America has come to mean turn us from a Democratic Republic into a dictatorship of elitists where the government rules and the stupid populace succumbs.

I'm fed up.

Joe - "These guys are charged with enormous responsibility and lives are at stake."

Yeah they are. And idiots like Ted Cruz are wasting everyone's time and energy fighting battles he will never win to boost his credibility with an extremist fringe group to further his political career.

"I hate the premise of liberalism that the government should be involved in every area of our existence except the bed room."

But you don't seem to have any problem with the idea that the government should be HEAVILY involved in our bedrooms. You're OK with that! Can't have consenting adults exercising THEIR liberty and freedom. Because some badly translated hand-me-down text from a bunch of illiterate, Bronze Age sheepherders should totally determine what modern adults living 4000 years later should or should not be allowed to do with their "naughty bits". Yeah. That makes PERFECT SENSE!

"Obama's plan to "fundamentally change" America has come to mean turn us from a Democratic Republic into a dictatorship of elitists where the government rules and the stupid populace succumbs."

I would MUCH rather have "elitists" running things than have the "stupid populace" in charge.

The "stupid populace" is to blame for Sarah Palin, Tod Aikin, Ted Cruz, and the never ending parade of goon-babbling conservative putty-heads that couldn't pour piss from a boot if you wrote the instructions on the heel.

You want to talk "fed up"? I am fed up with spineless weasels
like John Boehner who could, as Speaker of the House, actually take control and end this nonsense today by putting a clean CR from the Senate in front of the House today that would pass on the first vote.

But he won't because he is pandering to a handful of lunatics who are bent on destroying America and turning us into some sort of loosely confederated survivalist conclaves where the level of bigotry and firepower determine political sway.

I am SO HAPPY that conservative politicians keep digging their own graves deeper and deeper.

The sooner we are shed of them the better!

BTW - Been worried about you. You don't seem to be posting as actively as you used to.

My online life would be greatly diminished without you to spar with.

If I had the means to provide you with a cup of chicken soup when you were feeling poorly, I would do so.

Just sayin'.

You never heard that from me.

"I would MUCH rather have "elitists" running things than have the "stupid populace" in charge."

And that is EXACTLY why we broke with England. And it is the essence of the liberalism the framers and I have fought against, and will to the death.

The reason liberals never learn from their mistakes is that they never admit making any.
