WE'RE HERE TO HELP - RIGHT

HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan is imposing a new rule that would allow the feds to track diversity in America’s neighborhoods and then push policies to change those it deems discriminatory.  unveiled the federal rule at the NAACP convention in July.

The policy is called, "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing." It will require HUD to gather data on segregation and discrimination in every single neighborhood and try to remedy it.

Why is the Federal government involved in this? Why are they promoting spying on our neighborhoods? Is there anything the Feds should not be involved in? If so, what?

Nice try at trumping up another phony issue.

Are segregated neighborhoods a plank in your proposed Republican platform, Joe?

Joe - So don't trot it out like it's something the Obama administration is imposing out of thin air.

The reason this initiative became necessary in the first place was because of bigots and racists imposing discriminatory lending policies and covenants that prohibited home owners from selling their properties to negroes.

You people brought this on yourselves. Take your medicine.

No, he's just exacerbating it. It was bad then and it is bad now. Only a liberal would think making it worse is making it better.
