GOOD! WE WANT ALL OF THOSE THINGS...BUT

In his June 14 economic policy address in Cleveland, President BO (the child president) said that if elected for a secnd term he would:  "create strong sustained growth;…pay down our long term debt; and most of all…generate good, middle-class jobs…."

Good! We want all of those things...but!

Right after he said that, he laid out a plan that would do exactly the opposite.

He said he wold raise taxes.

Take more of people's hard earned money, especially if they worked really hard, took lots of risk and created many jobs and thus had lots of money.

Then he said he would increase the number of rules and regulaitons on people, industries and states.

Does he not realize that every single regulation takes away somebody's freedom?  Is liberty just a word that it can be so blatently denied?

He said he would increase government spending.

Imagine! He actually thinks government spending, the money he gets for which is taken from the very people he thinks he's going to help will help. (Let's see...I have $100.00. The government takes $15.00 of it and then gives me back $11.50 in government "serivces." Such a deal!)

He said, "Throughout history, it has typically taken countries up to 10 years to recover from financial crises of this magnitude." In other words, he is telling us the standard of recovery he wants to be judged by, is 10 years to get back on our feet.

Sort of reminds you of the aftermath of the great depression, doesn't it?

Ten years!

He isn't even going to be president in ten years!

Or is he?

Sounds like he's planning on being president to me!

There's a word for that: dictatorship.

Just waiting for a "national emergency" to be declared right before the elections so he can suspend the election!

It's called a conflict on interest.

Now be a good Libertarian, wave your hands, sprinkle some pixie dust and they go away.

He wants to raise tax rates on incomes over $250K. There is no evidence that reducing taxes on the wealthy leads to more economic growth. In fact, over the last 60 years the U.S. GDP has grown at a higher rate when top marginal rates are 50% or more. Like they were in Reagan's first 6 years. Even when the rate dropped to 28% the capital gains rate was raised to 28%, slightly mitigating the damage it did. Here's a chart that blows away the myth about low taxes and growth.

Joe, I know you're out there on the fringe but I didn't know you were an anarchist. Can we expect Johnny Rotten on Sunday Respite?

More tax whining from Joe.

Let's see, Massachusetts, Missouri and Minnesota - states of the progressives on the board all pay above the national average in taxes.
Florida is well below average and receives more in benefits than it pays out.

In other words, Joe pays $1.00 and gets back $1.20 plus a hip replacement. Pretty good deal but you don't read XO, Craig and myself whining about it.

Pitch till you win, Joe.

Duck: I've paid medicare premiums since 1965. I still pay them. I also pay for a supplemental medicare plan.

So get off that hip replacement rag.

It is your form of government that keeps Medicare right on the brink of bankruptcy constantly.

It is prohibited by law from investing the proceeds in any real way.

Private insurance companies, grow by investing premiums.

A far superior way.

Did ObamaCare pass by means of corrupt tactics? Hell, yes it did! If ObamaCare is so great, why did the White House and Democratic leaders have to resort to deception and bribe the Democrats in the Senate and the House for their votes? What is apparent is that we have a White House who is governing with arrogance and are only concerned about their political careers and their ideology. What is even clearer is that those on the far left believe and subscribe to Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals where “the ends justify the means.

While Obama and Pelosi have been spreading lies about this monstrous power grab cloaked under the guise of healthcare reform, the GOP has been grooming candidates and winning elections. When the president himself starts striking out on the campaign trail for Dems . Then you will see the REAL will of the people!

I just lowered the flag to half mast. No matter how you slice it, this is a dark day for liberty in America.

Romney needs to come out swinging and connecting with voters. But until then...

I will be seeing you either in jail or on the front lines of combat as the Second American Civil War moves from rules, regulations, an oppressive government to open conflict. I will never pay this tax or join a communist government health care system. The enemy within has won a major victory.

We will now swiftly descend into a Great Depression never seen in the history of our country.

Chief Justice Roberts needs to be impeached. We have one last gasp of freedom left and that is the election.

Throw the communists out of our government!

Obamacare was passed by anti-American socialists, who bullied some moderate democrats into voting with them.

Obama has already proven himself to be an inept, inexperienced, incompetent, anti-American, socialistic, muslim-leaning, ex-lawyer dufus.

Our Supreme Court should be slapping down the idiotic legislation passed by clueless democrats and signed by an equally clueless obama

It never ceases to amaze me how l the racist, stupid “liberals”who elected Obama are!

Unfortunately all today's ruling will be is another indication of how politcal the Supreme Court has become.

This was a wonderful and free country before the the tyrant was e;ected!!!!!

The Boggy Man said...

Most of the American people and even part of the Supreme Court acknowledges that Obamacare is a bad law but they were compelled to address constitutional factors only, such as the mandate. Clearly the American People have been lied to by the Dems, stating that it was not a tax for medical insurance.…

Unfortunately poor people are stupid, and stupid people vote for liberals. And according to the DNC we are all just their bitches.

Note to you Liberals out there, beware of what you are cheering for., the worst is yet to come. This is a tax on each and every American including you! If you thought jobs were scarce before, just wait.

Everything I loved about America is gone, I don’t recognize it anymore. Gosh, I'm beginning to sound like the First Wookie.

Joe - "Duck: I've paid medicare premiums since 1965. I still pay them. I also pay for a supplemental medicare plan.

So what? You condemn government run health care while benefitting from government run health care. That's the issue with you. Not whether or not you are a tax payer.

All the rest of y'all -

"When the president himself starts striking out on the campaign trail for Dems . Then you will see the REAL will of the people!"

"I will be seeing you either in jail or on the front lines of combat as the Second American Civil War moves from rules, regulations, an oppressive government to open conflict."

Those sound like threats to me. I'm sure the Secret Service will be very interested in talking to you.
