So Chris Matthews thinks Newt Gingrich "looks like a car bomber?
Is there any chance at all that a statement like that could be considered profiling, or hate speech, or biased, or prejudiced or just plain stupid?
Is it my imagination or have liberal/progressives lost all touch with reality?
Can liberal/progressives not see hypocrisy in their own statements?
They are very good at pointing it out in others.
Who was it who said, "Would that we could see ourselves as others see us?"
The only people who should take Chris Matthews seriously as a human being, let alone a "journalist" or "editorialist," are people who, themselves, are total idiots.
I mean, is he a total nimrod?
Has rational thought completely abandoned the liberal/progressives?
A statement like that from a conservative would be lambasted on every liberal/progressive media entity in the universe.
As much as I can't imagine a president named "Newt" (just like I had real trouble imagining a president named "Barack" or "Obama," as well as "Mitt"), to refer to him as looking like a car bomber is beyond the everlovin'-blue-eyed-pale.
Why is Chris Matthews allowed to continue, when so many others have been canned for far lesser grievances?

Don't try to understand the thinking's of a Madman Joe, these Libs/Progressives are all madmen/women and their hears just aren't screwed on straight.
the malcontent: He has become outrageous, hasn't he?
Chris Matthews is a delusional moron. These libs live within their own fantasies.
The only thing libs are good at is name calling.
He lost any credibility that he ever might have had with me when he rhapsodized about the chill that ran up his leg whenever "the One" spoke.
Clearly the man is delusional at best.

It was Robert Burns, the Scottish poet laureate.
But you quoted him wrong. The correct quote is this:
"O wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!
It wad frae monie a blunder free us,
An' foolish notion:
What airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e us,
An' ev'n devotion!"
It is the last verse of a poem titled, "Ode to a Louse", written after the poet spied a louse crawling around on a fashionable lady's bonnet in church.
I highly recommend you read the entire ode.
Teresa: I'm not certain he rises to the level of moron.
commonsense: They do that well, though.
Mark: I can't even read the one paragraph you gave me, how am I ever going to read the whole ode?
Is it a lousy ode?
I wad be givn' a foolish notion, o cours'.

No doubt about it. I believe they never had it to begin with.
Matthews better not quit his day job to become a profiler. Obama looks more like a car bomber than Newt.
Leticia: Right you are.
LR: So does Chris Matthews.
Chris Matthews is so full of crap his eyes are brown.
It's all about Chris, and I have a personal Chris Matthews story to back this up:
My wife and I lived in the DC area a decade or two ago, and were in a prominent DC restaurant. I was two-deep at the bar, trying to get drinks for me and the Missus, and I noticed a guy right next to me, staring at me like I had just puked on him: Chris Matthews was staring at me, demanding with his eyes that I acknowledge his presence: I at first thought, what is this guy doing, what a weirdo, and then I recognized him: once I did, the recognition flashed in his eyes, and he was content that I knew who he was, and he looked away, content as to his recognition from a peon like me.
We sat right next to this jerk at the table right next to him, along with his wife Kathleen, for the entire evening, and he not once looked at us again. We were invisible.
It was just a weird encounter, and I thought that his jerk image was reenforced.
Holy Tea Bag, Batman, Newt Married the Joker
Fredd: He becomes more frenetic every time I see him! Is that supposed to be his schtik?
Ducky: What the heck is that supposed to mean?
