WHO THINKS THUGGERY IS BOTH RIGHT AND THE NORM.
Senator JonKyl (R-AZ) met with President BO and tells us:
I met with the president in the Oval Office, just the two of us . . . and we had a discussion about this. . . . Here's what the president said:
"The problem is," he said, "if we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform."
In other words, they're holding it hostage. They don't want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with comprehensive immigration reform.
Now, I explained, "You and I, Mr. President, have an obligation to secure the border. That's an obligation. It also has potentially positive benefits. You don't have to have comprehensive reform to secure the border, but you have to secure the border to get comprehensive reform." I said, "You'd be surprised. Maybe you don't think that there would be any more incentive for comprehensive reform. But I'm not so sure that that's true." In any event, it doesn't matter. We're supposed to secure the border.
But that's why it isn't being done. They frankly don't want to do it. They want to get something in return for doing their duty.
There is absolutely nothing you could say to convince me that President BO is the most rotten, devious, stinking politician who has ever held the oval office.
Here's Jon Kyl's video:
The part about President BO is at about 3:17.
Thanks to Bread Upon the Waters for putting me on to this.

Perhaps one qualification for presidency should be a two-week ride-along at the border followed up with five days of standing security at one of the border schools.
Thanks for spreading the word about this, Joe.
"[I]n the past year the US government has doubled the personnel assigned to Border Enforcement Security Task Forces, tripled the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement intelligence analysts; and required the Department of Homeland Security to -- for the first time -- screen all southbound rail shipments for illegal weapons, drugs, and cash; among other steps."
Now of course you won't believe a word of that. But let me ask you why I should believe a word of what Kyl said?
Also Joe in your character assassination of the president:
"BO is the most rotten, devious, stinking politician who has ever held the oval office."
You left out poopyhead.
Did you actually come up with that yourself or did an 8 year old help you?
You obviously are not an American history buff, either.
But you sure can stamp your foot and stick out your meany, nyah, nyah tongue real fine.
I'm sure Mr. Obama is devastated by your attack.
bluepitbull: He'd have to have a bullet-proof jacket.
QR: Hope it registers with people of intelligence.
SK: You will believe what you want to believe.
OK, I'll include poopyhead.
I'm sure President doesn't care any more about my opinion than he does of yours or of any other American. He just does not care...period. He'll do what he wants, when he wants, where he wants, how he wants because he won, and that's what winning means.
It was George W. Bush, wasn't it who said "I'm the Decider."
SK: Makes no difference to me who is president at any given time, he should have his fingers on the pulse of the people and give them consideration in his decision making process.
BO does not even want to know what the people think...period. Doesn't care.
Joe ..we must vote them out..or we are doomed!
"BO does not even want to know what the people think...period. Doesn't care."--JOE
And you know this for a fact in what way? You are privy to his thought processes? Mr. Obama tells you? Personally that he doesn't care what "the people" think. Period?
Or could it be, possibly, maybe that your hatred of our president causes you to, just, well, make up stuff to fit your biases against him?
Could be, Joe. Could be.
Because I don't think Mr. Obama tells you, Joe, what he's actually thinking. But I'm just guessing at that.
SK: Actions speak louder than words.
SK: "...why I should believe a word of what Kyl said?"
Well, look at those eyes, look at that smile. Look at that pleasant demeanor.
Now look at your picture.
Which one would YOU believe?
If it comes down to Who do I believe Kyl or Obama, I'll pick Kyl.
It's a no brainer, all we have to do is look at their Past Histories.
Finally we see a senator with some Cahonies.
And How the Hell did George Bush's name get into this?
No matter what BO said or didn't say, the border is not secure. Americans are dying inside our own border at the hands of foreigners, who have not been given permission to be here.
Some faulty thinking individuals believe we can't close the border so why try. To you I will point to China who built a fence over 15ft high made of cement and barbed wire along the border with N Korea in just 4 days. The patrol that border with military personal, and don't have an entry problem. You can look it up. It happened in 2006.
WHT: I sure hope we do. But I hope we elect a bunch of TRUE conservatives when we do.
Ginsu: That's pretty flattering, in my opinion.
Tha Malcontent: George Bush Is responsible for everything, including, but not restricted to: WWII; The Crimean War; the Price of eggs in China and The Great Depression.
ablur: There is no doubt that we could secure the borders if we had the political will to do so.
What would be better would be a reciprocal relationship with Mexico to make entry into the US as difficult as entry into Mexico is.
If you sneak into Mexico, you will not be given health care, you will not be educated, you will not be given work at any level...you will be shot.
the 1200 border guards, woefully insufficient according to the experts, STILL haven't made it to the borders...
All promises...all hot air.
"I didn't know Ayers"
"I never heard anything negative about America at church"
"I put a seal on my birth certificate and instigated the law that says nobody can ask Hawaii anymore for it"
"I love babies but don't want my girls punished with one and I hope all those babies who survive abortion attempts die cuz I've voted 4 times against reviving them"
"We're closing Gitmo"
"We're leaving Iraq"
"I barely know Bloggo"
I don't know...who would YOU trust...that, or KYL?
I've talked to some people who know the Senator and they all say the same thing -- he is probably the most honest person in the Senate. If someone is lying here, it is Obama.
Lone Ranger, I'm so glad to hear that confirmed.
thanks
Did you hear the gasping & groaning from the crowd??? People cannot believe that this "rotten, devious, stinking politician" is their president.
Heaven help us!
p.s. I may post this & link to you, Joe.
"People cannot believe that this "rotten, devious, stinking politician" is their president.
Heaven help us!"
I don't think "heaven" listens to people with such mean-spirited hearts and who denigrate God's creations.
Whether you like it or not, Miss Susannah, Mr. Obama is God's creation. How loving of you to trash His creation from the bottom of your loving Christian heart. LOL!
SK: You're not good at much, but you excell at snide. Really excell.
Interesting, Joe. Some folks don't understand that being a Christian does not neuter one's ability to make assessments of character based on observable fact; that discerning character is neither an attempt to judge/condemn one of "God's creations" , nor does it "denigrate" or "trash" the soul of said creation. It's simple honesty.
Folks like our friend here would rather Christians be weak, flaccid, impotent wimps who won't speak the truth for fear of being criticized or disliked. They'd rather we just shut up & go to church, or something.
Sorry, but there's a guy I've read about who made a big mess out of a Temple when he saw people doing wrong, & screamed at people - calling them what they were - when they made a mockery of Truth.
Call me crazy, but I'm guessing people wanted Him to shut up & go read the Torah or something. I'm also betting that Heaven was indeed listening that day - with a keen ear - and rejoicing.
And you know...I'm hoping against hope...I wanna be like that guy.
