I wish there was such thing as global warming. It's freezing outside.

Well the correct term is climate change.

Weather has been distinctly different in the Northeast for the last few winters.

Of course nobody denys the warming is occurring. The question is whether or not it is man made and whether or not it will cause such violent changes that the earth will have trouble readjusting.

I leave it to the far right to trivialize an important topic.

Not much of a storm, though.

Ducky, Ducky, Ducky,

"I leave it to the far right to trivialize an important topic."

The term "Global Warming" was not invented by the "extreme right," it was the accepted name for the phenomenon until it fell into disrepute.

If you've got the guts to do so, go check out some of the references to it in MSM and scientific journals. They called it "Global Warming>'

For Pete's sake, man, why do you have to be so arrogant as to deny the very term that was used.

It was not until after it became a controversial topic that its supporters changed the name themselves.

The average earth temperature is now DROPPING, not increasing.

OF COURSE THERE IS CLIMATE CHANGE...THAT'S THE VERY DEFINITION OF "CLIMATE" YOU WERE TAUGHT IN GRADE SCHOOL (I am presuming that you are over 25 years of age...although I don't really know that).

The climate changes all the time.

That's its job.

That's what it does for a living!

Get off you high horse and get both honest and real.

"Of course nobody denys the warming is occurring."

Yes, some people do, even some very renound scientists...except that as soon as they show their evidence, people with a pre-conceived agenda remove them from the "renound" list.

"Not much of a storm, though."

Sure is for New Orleans and Texas.

Joey -

An importnat component of climate chnage and warming are more unstable and unpredictable weather patterns.

A rare snow in Texas doesn't disprove a thing, and it doesn't really prove a thing either.

I believe in Global Warming and Climate Change, but I cringe when other people attribute every variation in the weather to Global Warming - or attribute any individual event to the absence or opposite of Global Warming.

You know, you guys are so ultra sensitive that you really missed the entire point of the title and the pictures.

Oh? You don't think so?

Well, suppose you tell me what you think the point is.

Ten-to-one you get it wrong.

You just have too strong of a mind-set and are determined to get all defensive about it.

Joe, Due to the fact that the Globe isn't heating up as the Global Warming theologists said it would, they have now changed the terminology to "Climate Change."

See? That way, they are correct whatever the weather does, and the lemmings are buying it up lock stock, and barrel.

So what if it snowed in Louisiiana? It's because of Climate Change!

Oh Ducky....I deny warming is ocurring. Except in the summer, when it's supposed to.

Global warming and climate change do happen, however man has nothing to do with it. It has been happening long before we were here and it will continue to happen long after. Correlation does not equal causation, and Gore and crowd have the CO2 levels and climate change correlation backwards.
