I spent a couple of hours on a post for today. It was on sequestration.

When I clicked on "Publish" the whole thing disappeared.

I am sore distraught!

MR. TRANSPARENT STRIKES AGAIN

President BO (the amateur president) was speaking to the National Governors Association last Monday. He was repeating some of his regular rhetoric about building a thriving middle class.

He wants to partner with the governors to get it done.

 By "partnering" he means let them do it his way. That's what he always means when he speaks of some form of cooperation.

 Then, in an effort to be transparent by keeping the American public in the loop, PBO (tap) ordered the clearing of the press from the meeting so he could take questions.

 I wonder what questions he was afraid of letting us know were asked?

 Please don't just attack Judge Jeanine Pirro.

ADDENDUM FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LIVED IN A SHOE BOX: Jeanine Ferris Pirro is a former prosecutor, judge, and elected official from the state of New York.

In 1978, Pirro became an assistant district attorney in Westchester County.

In 1989, she became a judge on the Westchester County Court, the first female to hold such a position.

In 1993, Pirro was elected district attorney of Westchester County, again the first female to hold that position. She was re-elected in 1997 and 2001, Prosecuting murder, rape, domestic violence, and other cases.

As to the title of this post, liberals like to cast aspersions on a person without first finding out what the post is about. Thus, the "requirement." Unless you watch the video, your comments have "0" credibility.

WELL ON THE WAY TO DICTATORSHIP

There are three branches of government, the Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch. There are three branches in order to prevent one or the other from having too much power. It is a system of checks and balances.

As head of the Executive Branch, the president’s job is to EXECUTE (hence the title: EXECUTive) the laws that Congress passes, or to veto them, forcing Congress to override his veto if they can.

There is a provision for the president to issue an Executive Order if Congress does not have sufficient time to deal with an issue.

Presidents have increasingly used this power to bypass Congress on some pet issue.

This president is no exception. He continues to issue Executive Orders at an alarming rate.

He also continually disdains Congress for failing to see things his way. His idea of compromise is “Let go of your core values and do what I tell you to do.”

In September of 2011, in a speech about “fixing the ‘no child left behind’ act,” President BO (the amateur president) said, “…but, if Congress won’t act soon to protect future generations, I will.”

In October of 2011 he said, concerning the jobs act, “…if Congress won’t act, I will”

In February of 2012, White House Domestic Policy Council Chairperson, Cecilia Munoz said, “In the areas where we’re struggling to get legislation through because we don’t have the partners we need…this president is going to continue to do what he can to move the ball forward for people, even in the absence of Congressional action.”

In July of 2013, PBO (tap), speaking on immigration, said, “If Congress is unable to move forward in a timely fashion, will send up a bill based on my proposal and insist that they vote on it right away.”

In is 2013 State of the Union address, speaking about climate change, President Obama said, “But, if Congress won’t act soon to protect future generations, I will.”

Those are not things I made up. President BO (the amateur president) and/or his administration actually said them.

Maybe you think this is the right direction for presidents of this country to move. You are wrong.

The end result of these kinds of actions is a dictatorship.

Some of you are quite happy with that prospect. Congratulations. You are on your way there.
