NO, I will not forget, ever!.....Let us always remember that Bill Clinton did not strike back strongly against Islamic terrorism on numerous occasions and that “Clinton Administration officials admit that they ‘received a wave of threats against Americans and American installations in Saudi Arabia’ in the weeks leading up to the attack, ‘but failed to prepare adequately for a bomb of the power that killed 19 American military personnel.’" Let us remember that a single democrat lawyer, Jamie Gorelick, was one of the reasons that the pre-9/11 intelligence agencies did not work effectively and efficiently together; not to mention that Gorelic was inappropriately appointed to the 9/11 Commission, and was later rewarded with multi-millions when appointed to work for Fannie Mae. And, let us remember that “We the People” have never been told what it in a 28-page classified portion of the 9/11 commission report dealing with foreign involvement. This classified report is said to involve Saudi Royals and others who financed and facilitated the 9/11 attack. The fact that Saudi Arabia is involved in the spread of radical Islamic theology (Whabbism) and terror throughout the world. Remember what happened at the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and those that perished in a Pennsylvania field … But I wonder if those people who are now calling themselves "Progressive's " well remember? I doubt it, because I really don't think that they ever really got it!
Shame on "A New Yorker Who Remembers" for turning this day into a political argument.
We must never forget.
But there is enough blame to go around, including enough to place on the Bush Administration and their ignoring the PDB of August 6, 20001, and who was in office for 7 1/2 months when we were attacked.
The New Yorker who wrote the above is what's wrong with this country: Putting all the blame on one group of people and being so perverse that he/she doesn't understand that people of all religions, races, sexes, and yes, political parties perished that day. Yet, New Yorker persists in dividing us further by desecrating this solemn day with his/her hateful comment instead of words of healing and remembrance.
Here it is the 14th anniversary of "9/11" and this nation hasn't learned squat about the truth of Islam. There is a book I recently finished which I recommend to EVERYONE if you want the facts of Islam and the history of their faith, and their goal for world domination: "What Every American Needs To Know About the Qur'an: A History of Islam and the United States." By William J. Federer. It was published 8 years ago, so you can imagine how much it doesn't include!
Now, for people like me who have studied Islam in depth since 2001, it won't tell you much new, but most people need this as their FIRST book on the topic. Paperback. Order one now!!!
ANYWR: You could be right at some point, but there were many "balls dropped" before 9/11. There are many balls being dropped today, as well.
sh: For sure.

Do you mean for me to believe that an official transcript failed to use good grammar? "a group OR bin Laden..."?
GEC: Facts about Islam are of no interest to liberals. Only feel-good emotions and a hoped for Utopia matter.
I was born in Miami, Florida, the son of an Air Force officer, traveled the world, was saved at age 17, and have served the Lord since. That's me on the left and my lovely wife, Bonnie...the pretty one...on the right.

1. Respect for The Constitution

3. The Smallest Possible Government
4. Individual Responsibility
This blog is about my philosophy of government, which is a very conservative philosophy.
You are not required to agree with me (although you would be better off if you did).
I am biased toward conservatism, and make no apologies for that.
Freedom means not being controlled by the government, that being the very reason we declared our independence from Great Britain.
Government's job is not to provide things for people, but to provide the opportunity for people to persue the things they want via the vehicles of freedom and responsibility.

The following is a transcript of the August 6, 2001, presidential daily briefing entitled Bin Laden determined to strike in US. Parts of the original document were not made public by the White House for security reasons.

I don't think so.
