BEING PRESIDENT IS ABOUT TRAVELING AND FUN!

Reporter: "How does the President justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayers' expense? Does he plan to cut back on his travels?"

Carney: "Uhh...(think of some response that evades the question...quick!)I can tell you that, Uh, this president is focused..."

Yeah, but how does the President justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayers' expense?

Carney: "...every day..."

Yeah, but how does the President justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayers' expense?

Carney: "...on policies that...create economic growth..."

Yeah, but how does the President justify lavish vacations and a golf trip to Florida at taxpayers' expense?

Carney: "...and helps advance job creation..."

Yeah, but does he plan to cut back on his travels?

Reporter: "The secret service told us that the tours cost $74,000.00 per week. How much is it going to cost  the President to travel later this week to Illinois?"

Carney: "The president's the president of the United States" (No Duh!)

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost for the President to travel later this week to Illinois?

Carney: "...and he's elected to represent all of the people..."

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost for the President to travel later this week to Illinois?

Carney: "...and he travels around the country appropriately..."

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost  for the President to travel later this week to Illinois?

Carney: "...I don't have the figure on the cost of Presidential travel, it is, uhh, you know..."

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost for the President to travel later this week to Illinois?

Carney: "...obviously something as every president deals with is that the security and staff...is uhh, a significant undertaking..." (???)

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost for the President to travel later this week to Illinois?

Carney: "...but, uhh, the President has to travel around the country, he has to travel around the world...that is part of his job..."

Yeah, but how much is it going to cost for the President to travel later this week to Illinois?

Reporter: "How much did it cost for him to go and play golf?"

Carney: "Uh, John, again, you'r trivializing an impact here..." ("...trivializing an impact? What is that? That means something, I'm sure.)

Yeah, but how much did it cost for him to go and play golf?

Carney: "People will lose their jobs...three quarters of a million people will lose their jobs" (That's a reason to go play golf?...Just sayin')

Yeah, but how much did it cost for him to go and play golf?

Carney: "...the law stipulates what the cost will be for each agency. Those jobs will be lost..OK?..."  (???)

Yeah, but how much did it cost for him to go and play golf?

Carney: "And, uh, you can report on White House tours, or you can find out what the impacts are out in the real world, uh, what additional impacts are...this is a real world impact here and it is unfortunate and it is an unhappy choice." (White House tours? What question is that an answer to?)

Yeah, but how much did it cost for him to go and play golf?

Carney: "The fact of the matter is, Congress made this choice. Republicans made this choice. Their option was to do what they did a few months ago and delay the sequester, to allow for time to try to negotiate a bigger deal...They chose not to because they refused to accept the principle that the well off and well connected ought to pay a little bit toward deficit reduction. That was a choice...and it was a choice that was presented to the American people as a home run...as something that was politically advantageous, in the back pocket of the Speaker of the House...it was a Tea Party victory. But the...there are consequences to that victory for the Tea Party and the consequences are what we've been discussing today."

Is there anybody with more than a third grade public school education who thinks that sequence of words even makes sense?

Talk about redirection! There were so many curves and detours in that paragraph that a snake would tie himself in knots trying to follow it.

But at least we have a clear understanding of how much it cost the American taxpayer for President BO (the amateur president) to go play golf with Tiger Woods.

They can never just admit that THEY are the biggest waste of taxpayers' dollars, and that THEY never saw a tax they didn't like. They refuse to quit spending money that doesn't belong to them. Liberals are such profligates.

Keep at it.

He's not the first president to play golf. Chucklenuts liked to hit the links with a full Secret Service detail.
But that detail is paid no matter what the president is doing so it's moot.

This is all about as silly as the discredited fringe right talking point about the 110,000 dog walker which is false. Even O'Reilly felt it necessary to take Michele "She's Crazy" Bachmann to task on that lie.

Pitch till you win, Joe.

I wonder if those IDIOT'S on the left who live in Boston feel what it was to have lived through 9-11 in New York was like?

Xavier Onassis said...

Darth - Hmmm. Let's see what we have here.

1: Two (or more) bombs go off in Boston on April 15, the deadline for filing Federal Income Tax.

2: Boston was the site of the Original Tea Party, which was a protest over taxes.

3: This being the 3rd Monday in April, it was also Patriot's Day in Massachusetts commemorating the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the Revolutionary War.

4: The 26th mile of the Boston Marathon was dedicated to the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School slaughter in Newtown, CT with a VIP tent near the site of the explosion where family members of the victims were seated.

5: Right Wing Nut Jobs (if the shoe fits...) blame the Sandy Hook tragedy as the excuse Da Gummint will use to repeal the 2nd Amendment, dispatch fleets of black helicopters across the land dropping U.N. Storm Troopers to kick in every door in the country and take away everyone's guns.

Probably go ahead and tattoo everyone with The Number Of The Beast while they're there...be a shame to have to make a second trip for the Second Coming.

I've got $20 that says when they find the person(s) responsible for this CRIMINAL ACT, they will have come from your side of the philosophical fence.

In fact, where were you today? Account for yourself, sir!

If so, he (or she) will be the first. The rest were lefties or Barbarians from the Middle East.

But he won't be from the right.

My money's on the Middle East.

I have a Pay Pal account you'll be needing to use.

I, by the way, was at work...a 12 hour shift.

Joe - "If so, he (or she) will be the first. The rest were lefties or Barbarians from the Middle East.

Seriously???

Does the name Timothy McVeigh ring a bell? Oklahoma City?

He's your typical right wing, white supremacist, Christian Fundamentalist, Branch Davidian, David Koresh flavor domestic terrorist.

I predict this attack will follow in that pattern but with the added Tea Party, Libertarian, 2nd Amendment layers of crazy.

Well, Joe, the smart money says this is going to be solved. If Copley Square has to be closed for a month to sift fragments, it will be done.

As XO says, it could well be a patriot "watering the tree of liberty".

Thanks darth, you are truly a fine individual. A traditional day of fun and celebration in Boston. Kind of an official kickoff of the warm weather, foreign visitors all over, the Sox squeeze out a close win and people walk down from Fenway to watch the end of the race.

Some dirt bag bombs the finish and kills an 8 year old child and the local hospitals have twenty trauma surgeons working on wounds more serious than seen in battle scenarios.

And your best shot is to call us IDIOT's. Freaking class act you double wide redneck trash.

Ducky - The common denominators among all of these terrorists? Ignorant, religious, bigoted, right wing, narrow minded, knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, hate filled, racist, bible thumping, drooling idiots with far too easy access to high powered weaponry.

Joe said...

XO: You're the most narrow minded person I have ever had contact with.

X.O.,
Timothy McVeigh was NOT a Christian. Period.

Xavier Onassis said...

G.E.C. - Refresh my memory...where in the Bible does it say Glenn E. Chatfield shall be the Supreme Arbiter of who is and isn't a Christian? Chapter and verse please.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

X.O.
Don't be an ass. The Bible itself defines what a Christian is, and McVeigh did not meet the definition.
DUH!

Ducky's here said...

Chapter and verse please, Glenn.

It has to be a Biblical definition. Don't weasel.

Ducky - Yeah, they know this latest terrorist was one of their own and they are keeping a low profile. In their basements. Clinging to their guns and bibles.

Joe said...

XO: Won't YOU be embarrassed when it turns out to be a Middle Easterner? Will you ever eat crow!

Ooops! I forgot. Liberals are never embarrassed. They lack the gene. You'll just deny you ever thought otherwise.

Rumor has it that the Boston Bombing was done by a Righting Pro-Gun organization, to show that not only Guns can KILL people. It blows my mind how far these Rightwingers will go to get their way.
Lets not forget that right-wing extremist have a LONG track record of this sort of thing.

What a liberal loon you are Xavier Onassis, Typical of liberal jackass's .You ought to change your profile picture to a picture of Elmer Fudd.

Xavier Onassis said...

Joe - I'm sure you and your regular readers were appalled at the site of all of those "union thugs" rushing around in their taxpayer provided vehicles and uniforms saving the lives of all those liberals and foreigners.

Tch tch, Ducky, you are such an angry, sad, little insignificant, affirmative action man. You are an embarrassment to your party, but oh so very typical. I'd bet that Bill Ayers must be very proud of you

We all know the left would rather exploit this politically rather than get to the bottom of it, and I have no doubts that the Obama crowd will come up with an accusation that will eventually lay all this that the fear of some right-wing extremist organization. . It‘s sick and sad but that’s what they do. And by the way, wherés the justice for victims in Benghazi? Wére still waiting for Jugears to keep his promise Remember these words? “But make no mistake, we will get to the bottom of this. We will find out who did this, we will find out why they did this. Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice.”.
And where has the justice been for: the Fort Hood terrorist attack Obama called "work place violence. Another Obama promise!
Wére still waiting!
Or as Hillary Clinton would say: "What difference does it make !!!!! "
This BS is getting to be a tired old song !

Hey X.O.
They were Muslims!!!!!!!! Big surprise, eh? I want your $20

Xavier Onassis said...

G.E.C. - In case you haven't noticed, I've been belching crow-breath mea culpas since the day the culprits were identified.

I was wrong. I've admitted that.

But c'mon, in light of the location and the timing (April is the favorite month for right wing domestic terrorists, Tax Day, Boston, The Tea Party...) I wasn't entirely out of line to be looking in your direction.

And seriously...Chechens??? Not even actual Chechens but just ethnic Chechens who have been in the United States legally for a decade or more and attending upper class, east coast, Ivy League schools.

Nobody saw this coming.

But, as I've said, I got ahead of the facts, jumped to conclusions and landed in a big steaming pile of my own prejudice and preconception. And I did so very loudly.

So I have continued to admit that I was wrong with equal vociferousness.

You will not find any instance when presented with the actual facts, I continued to cling to my previous position.

The same can ABSOLUTELY NOT be said for you, Jo Joe, Darth Bacon and the rest of The Peanut Gallery of Embraced Ignorance that constitutes this blog and its readership.

That being said, I have in fact offered to honor my bet and pay Jo Joe the $20.00 I put up. I'm waiting for him to accept.

As for you, just because you are you, I think the proper response is "You can have my $20.00 when you pry it from my cold, dead hand!"

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

X.O.,
I have missed much because I have been out of town for three days. Sorry I missed you contrition.

However, You still want to come up with excuses to blame people whose ideology is in direct opposition to yours rather than waiting for facts, and that is the usual liberal ploy.

Xavier Onassis said...

G.E.C. - My contrition has been loud, deep and wide. There is no shame in admitting that the facts don't support your hypothesis.

That's a lesson you would do well to learn.

"However, You still want to come up with excuses to blame people whose ideology is in direct opposition to yours rather than waiting for facts, and that is the usual liberal ploy."

I disagree with your accusation.

What I did was look at the facts of the incident, make logical deductions based on historical precedence, and then (and here is where I went wrong) jump ahead of the facts and make predictions.

I would argue that what you and your fellow right wing bigots do, is ignore the facts of an incident, skip over any logical deductions, disregard any historical precedence and assign both blame and motive without any audit trail of critical thought.

My position on matters is self correcting based on actual facts.

I've never seen a single instance where facts, reality or truth has been able to even rattle your delusional cage of self imposed ignorance.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

X.O.
You are the delusional and ignorant one.

There were no "facts" in the case which supported your claim. You had to dig for ideas which might point to some sort of "right wing" person, when all the while the main fact was staring you in the face. People like me immediately assumed Muslim terrorist because we follow what is happening around the world. People like you and your paranoia against anyone who exposes the corruption and immorality of the Demokrat party, atheists, and liberals in general will immediately attack us.

Xavier Onassis said...

G.E.C. - "People like me immediately assumed Muslim terrorist because we follow what is happening around the world."

Really?

Let's take a little stroll down memory lane, shall we?

Timothy McVeigh
Born a U.S. Citizen
Christian, Caucasian
Slaughtered 168, Wounded over 800 in Oklahoma City

Eric Rudolph
Born a U.S. Citizen
Christian, Caucasian
Slaughtered 2, wounded 111 in Atlanta, GA

Eric Harris / Dylan Klebold
Both born U.S. Citizens
Christians, Caucasians
Slaughtered 13, wounded 24 in Columbine, CO.

James Holmes
Born U.S. Citizen
Christian, Caucasian
Slaughtered 12, wounded 58 in Aurora, CO

Jared Loughner
Born U.S. Citizen
Christian, Caucasian
Slaughtered 6, wounded 12 in Tuscon, AZ

Adam Lanza
Born U.S. Citizen
Christian, Caucasian
Slaughtered 26 in Newtown, CT

Perhaps you should follow what's happening in the world a bit more closely. You seem to be missing some pretty important facts.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

X.O.,
Your examples were not terrorist attacks, but attacks for specific targets by mentally deranged individuals.

The VAST majority of terrorist attacks around the world are committed by Muslims.

Quit defending the indefensible.

Xavier Onassis said...

G.E.C. - So terrorist attacks are NOT attacks on specific targets by mentally deranged individuals??? I suspect that in your "mind" only acts committed by Muslims qualify as terrorist acts. I think the people killed and wounded in the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City would take issue with your assessment that it wasn't a terrorist attack.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

X.O.,
The OKC bombing was the only one in you list that could qualify as a terrorist attack based on the reasons for the attacks. Numbers killed don't determine the type of attack.

I didn't say all terrorist attacks were by Muslims; read again what I said if you are able to read and comprehend.

Xavier Onassis said...

G.E.C. - Wow! So not only do you get to decide who's a Christian and who ain't, you also get to decide what is and isn't a terrorist attack.

That's an awful lot of responsibility to reside in one loony tune nut job.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

X.O.

Yeah, just like YOU get to decide what is or is not moral, just like YOU get to decide who is or isn't sane.

That is an awful lot of responsibility - of course since you consider yourself your own god, you can decide anything you want.
