Of course we've been told over and over again that this whole conflict is really Israel's fault and if they'd just lie down and roll over in defeat, all fighting in the region would cease.
I watched a talking head program on which a pro-Palestinian American "expert" explained how Palestine in general and Hamas in particular were victims in all of this, and only wanted Israel to stop "attacking" them.
Meanwhile, Hamas executed some alleged Jewish "spies" and then behaved in a totally civilized manner, dragging one of their corpses through the streets, as illustrated in the photos below.
Of course we all remember the pictures of Christians and other Americans hanging members of Hamas in the public square, torturing members of Hamas on CNN and MSNBC and photos of our citizens dragging members of Hamas through the streets.
And there is no objective evidence that Hamas is anything other than peace loving old grandmas who just want to represent their fellow countrymen.
Oh, wait...yes there is.
Everything about them is barbaric.
So is everything about those who stand with them.

Why don't they just stop the fighting and start living.

I have no idea who is telling you that. Must be something you're picking up from rabies media.
There is little controversy about Israel's right to defend itself.
However, when you start bombing women and children because Nuttyyahoo wants to look like a tough guy for the new elections that doesn't constitute self defense.
When you turn Gaza into a prison colony it doesn't constitute self defense.
Israeli poop stinks just like any other.
Ducky: In WWII, thousands of "innocents" were killed. In Korea, thousands of "innocents" were killed. In Viet Nam, thousands of "innocents" were killed.
When a government decides to take military or terrorist action against another country, they are giving defacto permission for "innocents" to get killed or maimed.
The Palestinians in general and Hamas in particular have not only given permission for their own "innocent" citizens to be killed, they have embarked on a course to kill "innocent" civilians in another country...Israel.
Gaza has done everything it can to turn itself into a prison colony.
The Muslims also USE women and children as suicide bombers.
G.E.C. How dare you suggest that these cowards hide behind women and children.
People of honor don't do such things.

Anyone who would try to attribute ANY moral equivalency between Israelis and Palestinians is simply a Jew-hater.
If Palestinians were to lay down their arms today, there would be peace in the Middle East.
If Israelis were to lay down their arms today, Palestinians would slaughter every Jewish man, woman and child in Israel.
