"Democrats have hours upon hours of this material to play with, and they’ll try to hot-glue the best stuff to Cuccinelli himself. Democrats win in Virginia, in off-years, when they convince suburbanites that the GOP has lost its mind."
Joe - You and yours seem to take Obama's teleprompters as proof that A) He can't think for himself; B) He can't speak without a script; C) Some nefarious cabal is feeding him talking points; D) MUSLIMS!; E) SOCIALISTS!; E) BILL AYERS!
But this guy has two teleprompters and you aren't concerned at all because whatever he is reading supports your point of view.
God Bless Sen. Wendy Davis, of Fort Worth who began the filibuster Tuesday and passed the halfway mark in her countdown to midnight - the deadline for the end of the 30-day special session.
Rules stipulate she remain standing, not lean on her desk or take any breaks - even for meals or to use the bathroom. Colleagues removed her chair so she wouldn't sit down by mistake.
If signed into law, the measures would close almost every abortion clinic in Texas, a state 773 miles wide and 790 miles long with 26 million people. A woman living along the Mexico border or in West Texas would have to drive hundreds of miles to obtain an abortion if the law passes.
In her opening remarks, Davis said she was "rising on the floor today to humbly give voice to thousands of Texans" and called Republican efforts to pass the bill a "raw abuse of power."
Joe - E.W. Jackson not only understands Liberty - but he sure can give a heck of a speech. He brings up topics that make you stop and think - in a way that makes it hard not to think about them.
FREE GEORGE ZIMMERMAN Trayvon Martin made the choice to go back and teach the "Crazy Cracker Ass" a lesson for following him..That's where he made his fatal mistake. Am I the only one who seen the big gash on the back of this man's head? He sure did not do that to himself. Why is everybody trying this case in the media in an attempt to get this man locked up or even worse without a trial? Sounds like Trayvon was just being cockey and showing off because he had his Crazy, fresh mouthed, wise assed, girlfriend on his cell phone. We all have the right to defend ourselves and this is clearly a case about that. George Zimmerman was clearly defending himself. It's my feeling that Trayvon pursued George and George had no choice. Trayvon was not the pure and the little "13 year old" angel his family and their mouthpieces want to lead us to believe!!
I was born in Miami, Florida, the son of an Air Force officer, traveled the world, was saved at age 17, and have served the Lord since. That's me on the left and my lovely wife, Bonnie...the pretty one...on the right.

FOUR PRINCIPLES THAT DEFINE TRUE CONSERVATISM:
1. Respect for The Constitution
2. Respect for Life
3. The Smallest Possible Government
4. Individual Responsibility
This blog is about my philosophy of government, which is a very conservative philosophy.
You are not required to agree with me (although you would be better off if you did).
I am biased toward conservatism, and make no apologies for that.
Freedom means not being controlled by the government, that being the very reason we declared our independence from Great Britain.
Government's job is not to provide things for people, but to provide the opportunity for people to persue the things they want via the vehicles of freedom and responsibility.
