Joe - I have never been able to understand what being Jewish is all about. They have been persecuted in every way. But they don't give up. Now they have their own country but they don't have peace. It has to be that it is meant to be.
Israel was chosen by God (because He gets to choose) through whom to bring Messiah (Christ) into the world. They will be the conduit through whom He returns.
