Over the last 50 years there were 11,000,000 people streaming into each these countries in search of such things as the Zambian Dream, the Slovenian Dream, The Latvian Dream, the French Dream, the Norwegian Dream.

In fact, according to the latest news reports, The United States of America is the ONLY country to which people do not yearn to go for the opportunity to better themselves. It is the only country where there is not equality under the law. The United States of America is the only country where  it is not illegal to take children as wives and sex slaves. It is the only country where no individual has any hope of rising above his station in life.

That is because there is absolutely nothing special about The United States of America. Of all the countries of the world, The United States of America is the only one that has little or no draw. American Exceptionalism is a figment of the imagination.

Yes, out of all of those 250 some-odd countries, The United States of America is the only one that is not a "melting pot." 

Why on earth would ANYONE want to live in or stay in The United States of America? Among the nations of the world, The United States of America is the least unique.

If I were living in The United States of America, I would sure try to leave to go to one of those other countries to live. Wouldn't you?

WHAT'S ON EVERYBODY'S MIND?

Listening to one of the "three big" networks this morning I saw a feature about the new White House coordinator.(or whatever they called him)

"How nice," I thought. "The White House has a new coordinator." .

That's really all I needed to know.

But not so fast! Suddenly the reported reported that the new guy was black.

My mind said, "So? Who cares?"

Turns out that even though most listeners don't care, the news reporter cared. He's the one who brought it up. If he hadn't brought it up, no one would have known. And no one really cares.

A black president [President BO (the amateur president)] hires a black White House coordinator. How is that a surprise? How is that news?

To have brought it up at all is very, very racist.

What a surprise!

ODD HOW BLIND SOME ARE

The New York Times recently ran a headline: “Obama, Before a Military Audience, Vows to End across-the-board Cuts. President Obama stood at this desert base on Wednesday before nearly 3,000 Marines, sailors and their families — and a captive audience of two Republican adversaries from Congress — and vowed that he would fight to end across-the-board budget cuts that have shaken the military.”

The reason this is significant is that this is the very same president, President BO (the amateur president) who thought up the idea of a pending sequester. In fact, he insisted on a sequester for the very reason that it cut military spending more than any other budget item.

Does it not seem odd to you that someone would propose an agenda that would cut military spending and then turn around and promise the military that he would end the military spending cuts?

That does not seem odd to you?

You must be a liberal. Only a liberal, a water carrying liberal, would be unable to see the problem.

WE'RE HERE TO HELP - RIGHT

HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan is imposing a new rule that would allow the feds to track diversity in America’s neighborhoods and then push policies to change those it deems discriminatory.  unveiled the federal rule at the NAACP convention in July.

The policy is called, "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing." It will require HUD to gather data on segregation and discrimination in every single neighborhood and try to remedy it.
