THE CHANGE WE HOPED FOR?

I'm not sure there is anything more convincing that the administration of President BO (President out of respect for the office; BO because his agenda stinks) is pointing us straight toward despotism than the following by President Obama's newly confirmed regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein:

"There is no reason to believe that in the face of statutory ambiguity, the meaning of federal law should be settled by the inclinations and predispositions of federal judges. The outcome should instead depend on the commitments and beliefs of the President and those who operate under him," argued Sunstein.

This report can be found on WorldNet Daily HERE.

President BO (President out of respect for the office; BO because his agenda stinks) has continually made statements that sound like socialism, associated with and appointed people to high level positions who have avowed socialist, communist and anti-American leanings, and enacted programs that are at least like those in play in socialist countries, all the while stating that he, himself, has no such leanings.

But if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, acts like a duck, lives in a flock like a duck and leaves a trail of duck-droppings, it is probably a duck.

If it walks like a socialist, quacks like a socialist, acts like a socialist and surrounds himself with a flock of socialists, and leaves a trail socialist droppings all around it is probably a socialist.

President BO (President out of respect for the office; BO because his agenda stinks) walks like a socialist, quacks like a socialist (spread the wealth, Joe the Plumber), acts like a socialist and surrounds himself with a flock of socialists (Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, ET. AL.), and leaves a trail of socialist droppings (taking over the auto, finance and health industries), one could reasonably conclude that he is probably a socialist.

I think he is most comfortable with the teachings of socialism and is therefore an anamatha to America.

Sunstein's comment goes beyond socialism...all the way to despotic dictatorism.

Is that really what the people who voted for President BO (President out of respect for the office; BO because his agenda stinks) thought they were getting?

I sure hope not.

He isn't describing a president, he's describing a benign dictator. This is the guy who believes animals should be able to get attorneys and sue humans. If baboons ever win the right to vote, no Republican will ever again be elected to anything.

The only good thing about having BO as president is the awakening of the American people. After decades of apathy and ignorance millions are crawling out of their caves and doing something about the problems.
At some point I am hoping the anger rises to the point of silence on BOs part or impeachment for all the things he has done that violate the constitution.

ablur: Neither he nor our representatives seem to have much regard for the Constitution.

Not another Czar.....

Maybe it's gorillas that are the intelligent ones????

Joe said...

Jennifer: At least they (gorillas)are not socialists. Not one of them has ever asked the government to do anything for them.

Oh boy...this is just the point I was making a few weeks ago, Joe. Remember our conversation:

I seem to recall a few BHO apologists who REFUSE to admit what's a plain as the nose on their faces. THANK YOU for putting yet another face on it. Nice job. I know you'll continue, my friend!

There is a change that is needed in America, but it is more than just the government.

Joe, you ask, Is that really what the people who voted for President BO thought they were getting?

No. They voted for what he promised them.

I believe that most of those who voted for Obama wanted a President that would supply them with all their needs and wants without asking anything in return. That is what Obama promised to them.

Remember the woman who said, "Now I won't have to worry about making my car and house payments"?

That's what they wanted, not knowing they wouldn't get it. Socialism is the most unequal system of government ever tried. That's why it doesn't work.

I think Brian is onto something - it's the people running government that needs to be changed...

The American people voted for a person that promised change in the way that government works. However, no one ever asked for the details of how that was actually going to work. We had clues from Barry's campaign and personal/professional associations, but those were ignored. Now we are paying the price.

Susannah: I do - remember, that is.

Mark: Were all of the Obama voters from the "I want everything free" crowd?

Tom: We need hope and change, alright. I hope we can change our lawmakers for some who have the fear and love of God in their hearts.

As for the promised change, "change" is the closest to detail President BO can get.

He promised specifics on healthcare at his last speech before congress, but gave the same old generalities.
